Hey guys, a lot of the links up there for Street Fighter 3 aren't working. Does anyone know where I can find some Street Fighter 3 sprite sheets (not gifs)?

I don't know if I have to post it here too, but here is go:

Slash Sparks - EFZ - http://bmt.mgbr.net/files/slash.rar

Its the Eternal Fighter Zero sparks (ripped by someone I can't remember, but its opensource too) that fits very well to make Slash sparks. I've made the sff (already aligned) and the air too. Its opensource

Wow... Found some awesome stuff in there!

Only problem is about 1/3 to 1/2 of them don't work. I got lots of "cannot find server" and whatnot. Maybe it's just my comp, maybe not. Anyone else have that problem?

  What stuff were you trying to get?  Some of the links may need to be updated.

Mugenesis is being reconstructed, I believe, and KFM's Dojo is gone.  He moved his stuff to NWM.

TO OPEN SOURCE:
In the first post it says "...CVS2... Ripped by Tony 3rd..."
The sprites were ripped by TDS(I think that you are TDS no???)
Please fix this

Indeed.
Open source = TDS, but as he is no more really active on the web, it's the mod here that mostly try to keep to keep the topic updated.
Yet sometimes, with bad copy/paste, tiny mistakes can appear.

Tony, would you confirm that the ones at excalibur are the sprites ripped by TDS ? (According to what I saw in the site, it seems to be good, but I would like to be sure)

And the sfa packs were ripped only by TDS, I think.

The ones in TDS folder: Ripped and cleaned by The Dreamslayer AKA Opensource.

the ones in Byakko Folder: Ripped by The Dreamslayer AKA Opensource, Cleaned by Byakko.

The ones in POTS folder: The Dreamslayer AKA Opensource. Cleaned by Phantom of the Server AKA P.O.T.S.


The One in ErickX Folder: everything edited (it is a edited carachter sprite pack) by ErickX

everything open source.

About CVS Todo pack: It's missing some of Kasumi's skin colors. Her face is transparent :-\

I handled the cleaning/palette extraction of Todo's spriteset back in the day, and I do recall having fix that issue as soon as it was identified and sending the fixed files back to TDS... what happened?...

I think I still have the files I worked with back then, so if the raw rips can be provided I can have that fixed.

Then maybe Tony can have that pack hosted, since it seems to be missing as his server, and the NWM server apparently won't be around for that long...


Speaking of stuff hosted at NWM, apparently I'll have to update WinRAR to check that Dhal.7z pack... Hopefully it'll be worth it, considering I also got the SFA and MVC2 ones from Tony's site...

I'm curous, do any of the packs have the hitsparks, super sparks, etc... in them?

I've been looking for some cvs2 sparks for my projects for the LONGEST but I cant
seem to find them :(

TDS's Dhalsim rips from CvS2 available at his site were unclened, and since I had helped him by making the act file for that set, I applied it to all of it, and hosted it in my puny site (and took the opportunity to make a new page there to include not only that but my old Shiva rips and edits).

An odd thing happened when running PCXClean on the files though - in only cleaned the first 243 or so in the folder that only had the actual character sprites, which seemed odd, but was eventually fixed by using good ol' DOS's "*" to handle them by the hundred, since they were all neatly numbered.
Didn't know PCXclean had such an issue/glitch, and I wonder if it's happened to anyone else and what could have caused it...


NeO: at least in this TDS sprite pack I handled, and others that I helped him with palettes, the only effects included were those that were character specific - I don't know if there are exceptions, of if there's a separate pack only with the universal effects...
