This probably isn't the right forum to be asking this question, and after surfing google for some time, I simply wanted to know the process and what it would take to rip sprites (if we can call them that in this game) from a game like Naruto Shippuden  Ultimate Ninja Storm: Generations?

Thank you.

Thats one of the 3d ones right?

so by sprites you mean something like the capture where you get the character models recorded into 2d format to use in mugen later on, kindof like some people did with sf4?

Yes, it is 3d. And yes. From what I've read, I've only be noting the difficulty of the process and never the how and process. Would you be able to lay it all out for me? If so, I'd appreciate it.

impossible for storm generations as fighting takes place in a purely 3d arena and there is no way to lock the camera. you are better off trying one of the earlier games or the wii versions where fighting takes place on a 2d plane.

the method to actually get them is a bit crude. first you have to find some way to make the background one color. then do a recording of the fight. then run animget to get individual frames. then clean those frames up and make them indexed pcx files. you probably wont manage to clear out the background since they are not pc games and its almost impossible to mod console games.. so cleaning the frames will be even harder.

Appreciate you, I'd rather read that than nothing at all.
