Hey again. So I am working with big lists of sprite sheets for my sprties. This is what I do. I open sprite sheet in ms paint and manualy cut and paste each one, one by one in a different ms paint window. My question is what do I save that file as (the single sprite). As ms paint cant save in .pcx which format should i save in.

Then obviously i need sprties .pcx so mugen can work with it so I use nero paint viewer and i can edit it and save it in .pcx so I do that.

Is that a correct way of doing it?

ALso when I am in fighter factory I make palletes but then i have to like save a bunch of times as I follow the ultimate mugen tutorial from google video. When I ran everything in winmugen it finaly worked but I didnt see my sprites. Debug window said sprites are missing. Am I supposed to save my accualy sprties in the character folder? I thought they are all saved in .sff and .act.

I know this is really dumb but im accualy getting here there but getting upset how following instructions step by step and nothing happends..or if it does happen one key element is missing..

Please help and sorry if my explanation is not clear.

It's best to batch convert the files, which many programs will do. Get the demo of Corel Paint Shop Pro.

File > Batch Process

In the dialog, "New Type," and there is an output folder where it will put the files.

Thanks for the reply..It works now..I see my sprites and everything..I get the basics of animation now. As far as cuting each sprite one by one It dont matter now since ive already cut them all out. Long or short way its no big deal. Next time around ill follow your suggestion for sure.. Thanks
