This kind of thing started happening long before the whole Photobucket fiasco. I've been wanting to have these animations hosted somewhere else entirely so they're not lost, but it's a lot of work and I haven't had much time.

Very cool stuff. I think my very first contribution was Chun Li's air Hyakuretsukyaku. Mislabeled it and got flamed lol.
I could see this being used after different basics. Just to make the flow work better. Like if her back is already turned, she could just go into this version.

There are a couple of issues with those frames. The shading is not consistent with her other sprites (including lightsource), and the kicks share the same effect as the "left leg" animation.



I would recommend posting this in the CPS2 thread first so people can provide more feedback, since I'm not exactly a CPS2 expert.

hello, sorry for digging out an old topic, but i'm kinda confident i may be of some assistance, to build animations.


it's quite crude, but i just wanted to inform that i can edit many kind of sprites, not just only the one i rendered myself.

Of course there are plenty of ways to expand a spriteset, but it doesn't make sense to take random characters from the whole world and add random effects, but if somebody is working on an improved version of a character, i could help them putting such stuff together or adding special effects on the sprites, like...



I would gladly help, but i have a plead: try and ask me only things you are going to put to practical use. If the reason you want me to extend a spritesheet is just "i wanted to see how it would look if... E.Honda did Guile's Somersault kick".
I'd hate to waste my time and the time of somebody who is actually working on something

Yeah, I'd love it if I could get some help on N00B Siabot. I need just 5 or 6 FX done and he'd be good enough to release.

@AlexSin: That launcher kick's red arm band needs work. It looks weird because it snaps into place. When you pause it, it seems to be a tassel hanging off of it. But if that were the case it should snap forward at the end, but doesn't. All of those sprites look good, just his left arm makes it look like it's jiggling or something's off.

I was wondering why you tagged me, but then I figured you thought I made that animation, if you're talking about Raditz.
I didn't make it, Zerberus Dante made it and if you were giving a critique on puffolotti's edit you should have tagged him instead.

Only things missing is the 3S Shoryuken and the worded Shinkuu Hadouken, I'll post those when I come home. Or if someone else has it, they can post it before me.

That's all the animations from Balthazar I have, the only ones I seem to not have are the SF4 Focus Attack and the alternate round-house kick.
