The timing/velocities could use some work, but it's definitely better than the magic explosion.  Maybe add a slowdown effect like the regular Orochinagi?

Even if we lose the juggle ability, it looks great.
As people comments, you may tweek the vels a bit, or maybe its just the video quality as you've said on youtube.
