It's interesting that how Capcom loves to change their sprites throughout each game series release. From SF2 World Warrior Guile, to SSF2T Guile, a lot of the character sprites have had some nice touch ups. As I have a full sprite rip sheet of SF2 World Warrior Guile, I'm sure someone will find this one just as good as any other. :)

EDIT: Is it odd that the character burned flame sprites do not have their black outlines? Also, these sheets do not have 256 palettes set.

Oh? The fire should have a black outline? I'll need to rerip that then. I was ripping from MAME and had a black BG is why. I didn't realize those effects had black BGs.

Though I may have them ripped correctly in my SSF2T Ken or Fei Long rips too. I'll need to check those and make sure. Would be an easy fix.

About the palettes. I don't add palettes to my rips. That's up to the person making the character.

Good stuff! I was browsing for sprite rips to use as reference a while back, and was a little taken aback by the conspicuous absence of any SF2 rips at any of the usual places. You'd think they would be the most widely available and easily obtainable sprites :P

Are you planning on ripping any more SF2 characters?

Not really. This was a request given to me before I started working on the SF full game. It doesn't take long I just generally have better things I could be using my time on and it also was to reintroduce me to practicing so I can rip Warzard characters for Rajaa

Why, do you think there would be a demand for them?

Also @Sheng Long: if you have rips you should totally share them dude!

I was going to eventually share them after I completed my SF2 Character Compilation Project. In fact, I've also compiled a complete SFF of the rips I've done.
But I keep getting tied up watching stuff on Twitch.TV. So, I haven't made much progress with it. X_X

I don't know about demand (although again I think it's somewhat odd it's not a widely available resource regardless), but I did have a particular personal interest. I'll send you a PM.

I updated the pack to include the Sonic Boom Projectile.

Also to note that the flash kick effects should actually be separate from Guile. If you want to be as accurate as possible. They were attached in the cycle process but do not touch Guile so if someone was anal enough it'd be really simple to separate the effect by just removing Guile/the flash.

I also looked at my old SSF2T rips of Ken and FeiLong. They were ripped in Kawaks with a pink background. There is no black outline on them either. So if older versions of the games had a black outline on the burned states then they must have removed them from SSF2T.

Yes, the burn body effect DO have black on a pink screen. If you want pixel perfect, just showing you what I see. :P

When you said a black border I thought you meant on the outside of the sprites. Like adding a stroke or something.

I guess at glancing the pink looked like an orange on the insides lol
Looks like I need to think of a way to make the BG pink for SSF2T in MAME

Till then, I corrected the flame sprites in both Cammy and Guile's sprite packs. Thanks for letting me know that!

(They did not have this issue in my old rips I made with Kawaks, I just didn't even notice it when I looked cause I was only looking on the outside of the fire :P)
