I Want There To Be A Special Gauge, One Seperate From The Mugen Power Gauge That Represents The Amount Of Power That's Able To Be Used For Certain Projectiles. And As The Player Uses Those Moves, The Gauge Steadily Decreases Along With The Power Of The Moves. This Will Help Me Better Highlight The Character's Weaknesses And Add A New Level Of Difficulty For Players Seeking To Use Him.

1.Best Way To Implement?
2.Any Reference Characters?
3.In A Full Game, Should Every Character Have Such A Gauge Or Can I Just Make Sure That They ALL Have Their Own Styles Along With Proper Strengths And Weaknesses

Simply tie the damage into the gauge itself. Say the gauge is full, at full power the variable managing it is 55. So

Damage = 1*var(gauge)

References, not specificially what you want.

In full games things should match up. That means if this gauge is a feature they all use it.

Thanx, You Always Seem To KNOW What To Do!!!!  :sugoi:

I'm Really Just Trying To See What I CAN Do With These Characters....Another Question(If You Don't Mind)...With Marvel Characters Do You Think The 6 MvC style is Best or is there an alternative that can still beckon gamers And fit the characters well???

The Vs games have relied on the light medium hard formula for a long time. MvC2 had it despite only using 4 buttons. MvC3 does not have it and is actually rather dumbed down. Come up with what feels right. There is no real correct answer to this.
