Hello guys!

I´m registered quite a while now but never could be of use to anyone so thats my first thread.

years ago i was playing mugen almost every day. I think im not the only one who wants to see his creation fighting on screen.
Since i realized its a ton of work i pretty quickly threw that idea away.

Well, that idea never died...
Right now i´m trying myself to make some sprites and hopefully someone with skill can make something out of it.

OK ´nuff talking, let me know what u think.

Did you use flash for them (making progress)?
By the way, I think the second one is too large, I'm talking about the right knee.

im using gimp

yep.. G.o.D. is right ... i copy and pasted out of gaming vids and inet pics, fit them together overdraw and recolored them. the size is kinda hard to set right because of the youtube qualities...

thx 4 the replies didn´t think i´d get that much attention

nice job. keep it up. I suggest making more frames for animations since the sprites are big. Big sprites with few frames end up like crap. So far so good bro.

thx. i will. what you say is true and it´s by far my biggest problem. when i see how much time a single picture takes, i dont want to imagine how much more im gonna need to finish this the way i want to.

how much frames would u suggest for every stance/ move?

I can't give any advice in regards to spriting and all... But from what I see, this indeed looks very nice. Piccolo ftw always. Looking forward to updates/progress.

some updates... piccolo will still take a lot of time because my hdd died. i had to start all over with the few stances i put on deviantart.

I startet with vegeta because i found a nice training sequence of infinite world.
hes way faster to do than piccolo and this keeps me motivated, maby will change piccolo to that style...

Heh, from the training in the capsule spaceship; why didn't they use some of those animations in the real fights?
Looking forward to this!
But do you have to finish the ones in the gif? I think yes.

The style you used for Piccolo was really good but this is simplier, and I think that with this one you can convert them easily to the other.
By the way I prefer this one.

yep, those definitely look better than the animations they used. thats why i wanted to use them.

so far its just a preview, still need to do a lot of cleaning. especially the hands and muscele lining (-dont know how to say) is often a pain in the .ss. you know the feeling when something looks wrong but you have no idea how to fix it?
i got that a lot...
