Well, I thought it was time for a second video. This will show the current progress on the crouching and jumping normals. Of course, many sprites shown in video need to be worked on, I just haven't got to them yet. Enjoy!

The dashes are clean! Nice progress so far, just a frame or two needed in a few of the punching normals but of course this is early days.

Thanks man, I spent quite a bit of time on the dashes to make sure they were really good. I'm glad you noticed. :) I'm planning to add more frames to existing attacks but I'm not much of a spriter, I'm not sure if the new sprites would turn out good or not. I'll still give it a shot though.

Quite a bit of progress has been made since the project started. However, I've been thinking about starting another SF3 W.I.P. to work on, along side SF3 Sagat, but I'm reluctant to do so. A couple of ideas that come to my mind are SF3 Seth and SF3 Kratos.

Thanks bro. :) Honestly, I'm having a bit of trouble with the specials but I'm figuring the code out, one step at a time.

Also, I might get around to working on some SF3 Kratos sprites and if I'm satisfied with them and I have the motivation, I might make him a W.I.P. later on.

I'm currently working on sprites and I'm making quite some progress.

Thanks to Alex Sinigaglia for helping me with shading the standing hard kick sprite, he did a really good job. I slightly edited it also.

I've looked at the edit Alex made and used it as a reference when shading other similar sprites such this Standing Light Kick sprite:



I'm also working on the walking animation again. After chuchoryu worked on the shading and added a fifth frame to the anim, I've been editing the sprites to make them look less like SFA and more original.

So, I've edited the walk anim.

New Version I made, I extracted the anim before I began editing the face and I left out the 5th frame to make it easier to compare to the original:


I edited the legs, changed the shading a little bit, some of the detailing and the shape of them. Please give me feedback on the anim so I can try to improve it more. Have I improved it at all?
