Here's a low-res street fighter screenpack that I edited for myself, I like how it turned out so I figured I might as well release it here. The original was made by AsianPad and can be found here.
http://mugenguild.com/forumx/index.php?topic=93141.0

I think my version is an improvement of the original. The original had 1512 slots on screen so you couldn't see anything and made it a total eyesore. My version has bigger sized slots and portraits, and can hold 150 characters. There's room to add another visible row of slots at the bottom if you want to make a total of 160 visible slots. Also since I figured people probably wouldn't want to replace their old screenpack with this one I ended up leaving the mugen.exe file and all the folders and such, so everything is ready, just add your characters and stages and start playing. Here's the pics (Updated 11-17-09):

:D heck yeah it improve but you need to fix the vs screen bit more. but dont change the background on it ether just try putting the characters portraits bit more to the center and add a pxc VS on it as well
plus add a cool lifebar or find one that have street fighter style like insted of the broken life bar

I am happy that you remove the shinobi background.
but everthing else look freaken cool keep it up and keep on mugen  :sugoi:

Thanks. I was thinking about adding text saying VS on the vs screen but then I thought, what's the point, I know they're fighting eachother. Maybe I'll add it later though. I personally wanted the big portraits at the bottom so I could clearly see Akuma and Ryu, but I'll post a centered version later. ;)
As for the lifebars, I figured people can just download whatever lifebars they want to go with it, but I'll look into finding something else that's more streetfighter style.

Nice Concept Bro.

But The (Big)Portraits Are Too Small, And The Player Portraits Are Too Big. + Theres Allot Of Color Loss On The 2nd And 3rd Background Images.

Yeah, the big portraits are 65% of the normal size. 100% is too big to fit on screen without covering up the whole background image. (The original screenpack had the big portraits set to 36% which was awful.) I still planned on playing around a little with the size of the big portraits, probably around 80% on the select screen, and probably 100% on the VS screen. And do you really think the small portraits are too big? I personally like to be able to see the small portraits clearly and I don't like jamming every mugen character in history into one screen. I only plan on having around 150 characters on my mugen game so it's perfect for me.

As for the color loss, I assume by 2nd and 3rd background images you mean the options and select screen images. The options screen was an image I found on google and the original was already like that, so there wasn't really much colorloss after adding it. And yeah the select screen image has some colorloss, the only colorloss that annoys me is where the sun was glaring in the sky. There was a really flashy glaring effect in the original picture so it did cause alot of colorloss in that area. I personally don't mind it, but yes it's not perfect, but it's good enough for me.

Oops. I Meant The Select And Versus Screens. And You Should Experiment With Different Methods To Get The Best Out Of Your Images.

I changed some of the colors in the palette of the select screen image so some of the colors look a bit better now. Download link is updated with the small fix. (Select Screen screenshot is also updated.)

Updated 11-17-09. I used the jigsaw method on the character select screen and the vs screen and it severly reduced the color loss. It's much better now and hardly any colorloss now. I also realigned some things and did some rescaling a few months ago.

If anyone wants to see the colorloss differences then look at the images below:

Old Select Screen

New Select Screen

Old VS Screen

New VS Screen

As you can see it's much better now. Enjoy, and if there's any improvements anyone would like just ask and I'll see what I can do.

Pretty generic screenpack, to be honest.

The large portraits are just floating there, ya know? Some sort of borders around them might help. Same thing applies to the small portraits.

And the default Mugen font.. :-X

Basically it just looks like a generic screenpack with random SF imagery pasted on. Good luck though!

Thanks, I was trying to keep it simple. Something that wouldnt cause more cpu usage and would load fast on my crappy laptop. I dont plan on making this a serious project, otherwise I would've started from scratch and made custom fonts, better visualizations, etc, the whole works. But I wanted to make something simple that would work well on my poor laptop. So yeah it's not a very good screenpack, very generic, but nice for people with crappy laptops/PCs.

Hmmm.... strange. I just now downloaded it and extracted it and it says the airedit file in the tools folder is corrupt. I'll reupload a noncorrupted one in a little while.

EDIT: Fixed and link updated.
