are those characters were made by scruffyteam or are they compilations from other creator?

That, will take a while, as people need to unnecessarily register just to download this game. Most people may have already joined at least 2 or 4 forums already, so I doubt they wouldn't want to remember any more oddball forum accounts by that point.

Also, a huge load of registered members does not always mean an active forum.

Its' a compilation with a new screenpack (I like the screenpack so far but it's annoying when it comes to adding stages and such). There's some characters I never knew existed in SNK form including Poison and Sakura. Thedge's Sean is here, and H's Vega along with Sepp's Balrog. It's a nice compilation even if some characters have better versions out there. But you can change that :)

I really like it for it's screenpack personally. You can just download that and the characters if you want some of the harder to find SNK-sprited Street Fighters.

The harder to find SNK-sprited Street Fighters are shitty anyway.

A KOF edit of N64Mario's Fei Long,

and most possibly,

Gouken by Aragon

That Poison seems to be different than the Korean KOF edit of a CVS Poison. But it might just be the icon.

I agree with Thedge. I deleted Sakura but am intrigued with Poison. I think her sprites are nice and the moves sweet. I just think that her coding is shady in sense that she can deal waaay too much damage and combos too easily. She also has a weird move or two. Having said that, I'm thinking about re-coding her as my first ever attempt at coding. While we're on the subject, are her sprites open-source? I can't read the read me that came with the character :\

Also, question from experienced coders: since I can't read/translate the language within the .cns file (that separates the states I mean), would it be wiser to start it from scratch or is there a way to save the .def and .air file while modifying restarting only the .cns file?

The Q is totally noobish and am currently reading the tutorials that came with MUGEN so forgive my ignorance on the subject.

You better start it from scratch.
If you are aiming for a KOF-like character, look closely at Vans' characters.

Thedge, man, you're like one of the people who inspired me to try my hand at this. But I'm looking for something more customed, ala POTS, Hero or Buckus... basically, dodge, parry, a modified cvs-style I guess so I will be looking at those. Is it customary to take code directly from POTS, for example, since it's open-source (i believe?) Don't get me wrong, I won't be copy pasting since I want to learn here but since it will be my first character, I will probably look at those three above and mix and match, and trial and error.

I will start looking for Poison sprites... or should I be saving every individual sprite from the Poison that came with the compilation above?

Sorry for the noob questions. I haven't finished reading the tutorial but will do so probably by tomorrow.

this screenpack is open source if you wan't change something you can. but all char and all stage is not mine, I add the credit in the endding.
And special thank for Thedge, when I have saw his work in honda I  have began this screenpack.

I've heard rumors that someone made (or is making) a KOF version of Blanka.
I need to know if that's true, cause that can be a great asset to the game right there.

Man If they took out Sakura which look's shitty.. and replace it with E.Honda by TheEdge then this would look a little better, but unfortuntly Honda aint released yet but I hope it releases soon hehe

Also Dont Forget that Good Looking SNK Karin that is on the works  :sugoi: Also Poison needs to be patches he has Voices from Other characters. that are really well known at it make her feel very odd. When you playingh as her or against her.  --;

there's a few chars that would fit pretty well in this Sp...

most of them edits by 119way, unlucky, they are "moleboxed" and you need to edit a few things to make them work out of his fullgame, but so far, those are the best KOF-SF edits I have found
