cool, cool, i'll look into cody and see what you mean but no promises on if i will try to combo the moves more or not, depends how i think it feels. after all i do still want to keep this pretty basic and make it feel somewhat like street fighter 2 so i'll see. thanks for your help
I couldn't look at it yet but what I can say is creators doing accurate stuff like warusaki3, H", GM, mugen9, muteki,... and so on are usually a lot more respected than people doing fancy stuff.I like your idea of balancing the characters with same number of throw super etc.. but I am a bit disappoint about you using battle system from non-SFZ3 games. Also it would be cool if you do like mario did for his SFZ3 Vega and Bison: a groove select (V-ism A-ism etc...).

One more thing about Hugo; when you're close, any move that involves his HK will automatically turn out as his D+HK instead. This needs to be fixed. Oh, and correct me if I'm wrong, but in all of the games he's been in, (SFIII series and SvC,) didn't his wall-throw grab juggle? Of course, I could be wrong. If it did juggle though, it would overpowered with the damage the initial throw does here. That damage would need to be toned down, especially to make the other, more difficult throw worth using too.

I can tell you off the back that this is a Demo for people to try then judge not a topic for people to talk aimlessly about. This game is pretty dead-on when it comes to the moves and the basics and this game is pretty accurate when you are talking about SFZ and SF2 I’m not going anywhere near SFA3. Like Mario did with the bars can waste time when I already have a bar system setup. That shit is just flashy useless shit I’ll work on game play and accurate stuff like the things kkhohoho pointed out but this is not flashy and I can careless about respect. This game is kick ass and for a demo is very respectable so plz try before you talk and that goes for anyone
I found the time to test the game, no combo message?I love the SFZ3 intro, awesome.Otherwise the characters seem a bit overpowered compared to the real SFZ3Don't get me wrong, I can see the huge amount of work you put into that game and that's definitely quality work I praise you for. I just find it too bad the amount of work you put isn't going into the direction I hoped, that's just my POV, and I still acknowledge how great your work is.Also I totally missed your bar system, how does it work? does it change the groove? Finally let me tell you my dream about your game: I dream of a groove select system with 4 grooves, the 3 original grooves done accurately, plus an ex groove for the way your characters are now. That's just a foolish dream and I know it won't happen I wish you best of luck for finishing your game.

Don’t be so sure it will not reach your dream one day hell I have dreams to but my focus for now is getting the moves to run smoothly. what I am going to try to do is make combos for mostly HP and HK when they don’t push the char back far enough. I know this is very light combing but at lest it will make the game more SFA3 like. the bars are just set up for when you hit a player you and the player get some kind of energy instead of just pressing a button and gaining power. At one time I was thinking of putting in different grooves but sadly that will take a lot of time and I think I’ll be happy with just a simple but smooth game. With that said this game has all the files out for a reason and that’s for if anyone wanted to change this game and add grooves or something else they can do so. I just don’t have to much time for it right now so don’t expect it anytime soon

The Shakunetsu said, March 26, 2010, 01:12:58 pmThanks sir another really good complilation turned into a full game! thanks i been working on doing combos and some basic AI for next release and i think it will only get better as i really get into this game.
@ Admins: Not aiming to be a cybercop here, but while EM20XX took care of updating this topic and his previous one for more than 1 year now, most of the testers (that I'm not part of, my bad) agreeing to tell, that he made more than a decent job which made his 'game' will be a must once its finished, I must ask..... How come he hasn't been given the 'Contributor' status yet (= screenpack, intros, outtros, characters edition) ? Did I miss anything ???
never crossed my mind. but i alwasy thought they gave that to people that do more then just edits and since mine is a big edit it still is well just a edit unless im wrong then
@ EM20XX: Now I've tried your game, and it's pretty hot (I assume it's close from SFA3 standards, since I've always been pathetic while playing this game, and here it goes again xD) ! Can't keep it due the lack of space these days but I'll use the endings and intros for the other compilations for sure, until you've reached your aim to complete the game. Good luck for it Also, after reading this in the 1st topic (...) :free9zone3 said, March 29, 2010, 05:11:31 pmi dont read all coments here but personal i think this game is good but not good enough. It's not supposed to be finished yet, and that's the reason why people can expect to be provided with updates, whenever. It's not PERFECT and it has never been advertised being so.free9zone3 said, March 29, 2010, 05:11:31 pmif you want to make a really good street fighter game you have to add all street fighter chars from all seriesEM20's working alone, are you aware of it ?? Luckily you're the one who's going to help him to create the 20 missing characters, each of them demanding to be frankensprited and coded to be balanced during the next 2 years, right ? Just weeks of work put all together, not a big deal.....Conclusion: Better read all the comments next time, an habit to be sure not to post anything.... you know.... yeah 'stupid', that's it.
OK looking at your character list I am seeing a lot of things that simply make me go WTF. Why would you put in Beximus Ingrid, which is MVC style. Also a lot of those characters have been done better by creators like Sepp and Necromancer.Furthermore, why is Ryu young/alpha Ryu fighting people from Street Fighter 3? This may be well put together but so much just doesn't make sense.

It's a dreammatch based off of SFZ3. The author has stated previously that while it's based off of SFZ3, he's also been doing his own things with it.

To run it down this game is not flashy but will be well done well balanced and funps; the story is remade it is not following Capcoms to a T. anyway it's not that far off Hugo could of very well been in Street Fighter Alpha and he fits well Sean may not fit as well but like I said the story is remade as if this was the first Street fighter alpha in my vision
