SF:  Ryu, Cody, Guy, R. Mika, Ibuki, Blanka (<-- Not a huge fan personally, but he'd fit in perfectly with DS characters)

DS: Morrigan, Felicia, Talbain, Hsien-Ko, Lord Raptor, BB Hood

- Which Chun-Li sprite set would you like best?
    - SF3 (color-reduced, like any SF3 set would be)

- Guile or Charlie?

What are your intentions combo system-wise? All the original Darkstalkers games had the chain cancelling restriction, which SF dropped that after SF2 (...until SF4, for whatever reason). They also had little to no juggling, wheres SF was kinda all over the place with pre-ST SF2 at one extreme and SFA3 on the other.

Anyway, I have a hard time saying what Darkstalkers characters I want to see in because they're all awesome. But I definitely want to see Anakaris.

WOW. Congrats on your final endeavor, PotS-sama.

On SF side: SFA: asking for Ken (LOL), Gen, Claw, Chun Li (GYM outfit plz); for SF3: Necro, Sean, Elena and/or Oro.

On DS side: Demitri, Victor (can't stress this one enough), Q-Bee, Jedah, and, last but not least, Dee (c'mon, I had to say it).

Any of those, for two simple reasons: 1º, because they are nice and have original gameplay.
2º, because, AFAIK, they are lacking decent conversions (maybe Q-Bee and Jedah not, but I'ld luv to see them in your style).

BTW, you planning to do this moleboxed, or only-fullgame compatible? Or are you gonna release MUGEN vers of them, a la Borghi?

Personally, I feel that you should just stick to using the SFA-style sprites for the Street Fighter characters. If you use SF3 along with SFA, the SF3 sprites might look out of place compared to the rest unless you do some heavy editing or something.

But that's just my opinion.

For the question at hand...

SF- Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li, Guile, Zangief, Blanka, Dan, Sakura, Rose, M Bison (Boxer), Balrog (Claw), Sagat, Vega (Dictator), Akuma, Shin Akuma
DS- Morrigan, Lilith, Demitri, Donovan, Hsien-ko, Bishamon, Talbain, Zabel, Victor, Sasquatch, BB Hood, Huitzil, Pyron, Jedah, Dee

*Shin Akuma and Dee could have a special intro with each other or something.

As far as SF is concerned, Ryu's SFA3 stage could fit well with the crossover, as could Akuma's SFA2 stage (which you already have I see). SFA classic outfit.

Like I said earlier, I would think keeping the SF sprites strictly SFA-style would be ideal in my opinion.

That could work, but all I had in mind was a ghostly tengu mask appearing over his face.  Or perhaps even something equally as stupid, like Super Saiyan Dan or Bang Installed Dan.

They get really angry at each other and then fight!!!  Or Jedah gets them all in one place for some reason.  But if I do storyboards I think they'll be more like happy endings of everyone doing their own things, like Pocket Fighter or TvC.

Chain restriction is currently in place, except rapid chains which are tolerated like Saviour/SF. Juggling is currently similar to Third Strike, with considerable freedom and resets but still clear limits.
Either may change though.
