Hey all so I've started ripping the voices from the Xbox 360 version of SFxT. So far I've gotten Asuka Kazama nearly finished.. Almost all of her English..As far as her Japanese.. I couldnt get everything unfortunately.. More to come!

English- 90% Complete..the last bits I couldnt edit out background noise with.. Specifically other characters voices..

Yep. In the options menu there is an option to mute both music and sound effects.. And I use the microphone I use for my voice acting to record it directly from my tvs speakers

Do you have a video capture card? (EasyCAP, etc.)

It would make things sound more crisp.

It 's unacceptable that published material is so bad. If you want to record a sound you have to do with quality hardware and with the right approach. This stuff 'with a fucking tape-recorded cassette tapes.

You're wrong. You are the first to have the courage to publish a bad job. This' one of the most comprehensive sites and ordered that I know but when I read "Street Fighter X Tekken Voices Rips" moderators should correct the title Registered supplementing with a tape recorder bought in a fucking china shop. Then the title will be corrected.

Ripping has only one meaning. Do not get mad, I have nothing against you  ;)

Yes I used a tape recorder. The lack of background noise TOOOOTALLY proves that..Yessiree my $500 microphone is the equivalent of a tape recorder from the 80s thanks for the new info skippy. And once again I say. Until you can produce something better. Shut. The. Fuck. Up.

Alright, I was only an invitation to publish material of better quality. What I mean is that your "rip" can not be used for "mugen" or similar software. So your efforts are useless.

I am not a troll but a flash programmer who created a version of "street fighter" who certainly have played at least once in your life;-)

I know what it means to rip the audio and cut out sprites.

The sound to be acceptable must be at least sampled from a digital source directly on the PC. Not registered with a microphone. Here this is constructive criticism, ok? :-)

I did not know that this site can not criticize a work without having proved anything.

So according to your reasoning can not judge a CD of music without being a musician. You're too smart for me, you are a well of wisdom.

You are free to think whatever you want of me, I live anyway. If I am on this site because I'm always looking for new material that could give me inspiration for a new game. This site is popular with programmers or wrong?

Finally, I apologize for having made Edward Elric criticism too harsh. it is true that a contribution is always appreciated. But personally I would never have published sound recordings with the microphone.

I continue with this site please attend. I hope someday to be able to make my contribution and willingly accept any criticism. :-)

that's teh part that makes you look bad, he does nto need to amke anything better to point out that the rips are useless (which I don't know if thney are but I am just trusting his judgement and savoing myself the download).

Aren't there programs like SNAG IT that can record direct from the program source?

Or like, the guy could just have recorded a video, and ripped and edited the sounds from there with Audacity or some other program? (Edit: WTH I didn't even know Audacity is free)

I get Cr1st1aN's point. While these exist, I'm not sure the outcome is what any decent creator would want to use. I don't need to be an expert or do it myself to know it's wrong.

Audacity is free, and I'm pretty sure there are some accessible video recorders.

Edward Elric if you use SFxT (PC version), you may sample the audio with Audacity (freeware). Would get a better result.

If you use an Xbox360 or a PS3 you can use the headphone output of your TV and connect it to the audio input of your PC / Notebook and you would get the better outcome without spending much money.

I am sure that the sound will be much more clear and usable for MUGEN or FLASH or similar

I could do it at any time without much effort but is not a good job and is not "rip" but sampled.


This is good advice. While waiting for the sound of "SFxT" definitely will be decrypted.  ;)
