Is anyone else really depressed about this? I feel sorry for the guys over all this hassle - I've been a background supporter on the forums since before V4 was even completed and I've been waiting patiently for them to get done after all this time and then this happens? It's not like SoRR hadn't gotten attention before now - it's been in major published magazines for gods sake! I despair of SoE - I really, really do

You aren't alone, but what can you do? Sometimes publishers just tend to want to be dicks about this kinda stuff.

Already been tried several times their response was basically that they need to protect their franchises from being upstaged by remakes. So they decide to not let us play a better game and instead rehash their same old fucking games with no new effects and worse things from the original.

Yeah and with V5 it was a bigger mess as well, especially with the whole Sega thing.

Looks nice, unfortunately I haven't seen any mods on the SoRR Forums because of all the noobs asking about Sega and making new threads saying how awesome the game is or how it could have been better --;

I have downloaded and I'm impressed. If they can do this for Streets of Rage, theny I would have love to see what theyy would have done for Double Dragon, Final Fight, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

But, really, I need to play this game with a controller. The keyboard is a pain.

I have also experience some slowdown in the main game. Does anyone know what I need to do to lower the quality and/or have less lag?

I don't know if it's me, but I seem to run into quite a few game breaking things.

One instance where I was fighting Jack at the entrance to the bar, in stage 1 of the SOR2 path. I got him into a combo, after he got up, he walked off the screen and then never came back, forcing me to quit.

The other instances are similar to that, but in other levels. Stage 6 in the SOR1 path, had me stuck right near the boss, because of a seek-1 robot walked off the screen. It was actually still there, I could hear it moving about, but it wouldn't come back on view.

But other than that, it's a really good fan game, and i'm enjoying it.

Were you standing at the edge of the screen? If you stand where they left they wont' come back, you have to walk away and wait for them to come back.
