Positive, The sprites look good, and has some interesting moves.

Negative, He feels extremely stiff. He doesn't flow naturally like the other Strider characters we had like Hiryu & Hien. I get trying to make him different then the others, but it just doesn't work if the character feels like your controlling one of those robots that you can make with Legos.

That's pretty much all I have to say about Mattick.
