Sub-Forum for fan-games in Gaming forum?

I thought I'd throw this suggestion out there. Why don't we have a sub-forum for fan made games (Beats of Rage, Gamemaker, etc) in the Gaming forum?

It isn't necessarily a negative thing but I notice a lot of fan-games nowadays in the Gaming section which in my opinion seems more intended for "real" games.
