Hello Everyone,who is recently watching Super Power Beat Down? They are taking two heroes and make them fight against each other.Episode 10 is released wich is The White Ranger VS Scorpion. There is a alternate ending within the video. All that wait and built-up hype and no zords was a disappointment, though.Next is Captain America and Master Chief, right? Well, Chief's practically what the Captain is, except better modifications (Well, depending on whatever version they use), better armor, and has a wider range of weapons. Plus Cortana pre-calculating every move and helping with the suit. But, being a popularity contest, well....see if its 343's Chief's head they end up having Cap cut off with his shield when he wins.
They both explain their powers and reasons for how they can beat each other really. MMPR is actually way softer than Super Sentai and the White Ranger is based from Dairanger's Kiba Ranger. Since they are more deeper in Story, it looked like a Kiba Ranger VS Scorpion video instead of White Ranger VS Scorpion. İt was a Great battle.
I like more the enalisys from Death battle rather than Super power beat down, but the real actors and the effects are very enjoyable on the other hand.But yeah its based on popularity most of all, hell, you just could have a beatdown between Godzilla and Sponge Bob, and Bob could even win that XDWell no complains, the show its pretty sincere with what it does, and i love their character impressions and dialoge, something that death battle lacks a bit for me. Never been a Halo fan, neither i read a lot of Captain, but my money its on the captain, hes faced foes like the hulk, gods, cosmic entities and a lot of strange stuff like that... plus... he punched hitler!
Both series do have their own styles. Death Battle's analyses are deeper and their fights are mostly sprite animations wich isn't a bad thing. Super Power Beat Down waits for the votes and films the fights with the results they get.
Honestly, I'm skeptical of these shows considering where I come from. But this one manages to be slightly better than Death Battle? I mean they don't bother with bad analyses and slight logistics that end up with really dumb answers (Starscream losing to Rainbow Dash still gets me laughing), they just go "Hey here's some reasons NOW FIGHT". While the popularity poll is stupid, you do gotta give them credit for making alternate endings. And hey, the production values are okay for what it is.
Yeah, I've heard/seen some of these before. They are very good. I like DB too though. I like the latest one, White Ranger ftw lol. That's real cool that Jason David Frank was on board with gearing up as the White Ranger for this. Most guys usually turn stuff like that down. I thought he was just going to speak on the White Ranger's behalf. Though he even acted him for the fight scene itself. Awesome. He was always the coolest Ranger. Probably the only time you'd ever see a PR use lethal force, but just because they don't kill, doesn't meant they can't. Just like Batman. I would have voted for White Ranger too. Scorpion's cool and all, but I prefer Sub-Zero myself.
I never got why people say that Power Rangers don't kill when they've used lethal force quite a few times. Heck, they clearly kill the monsters they fight every day (except for like, the two seasons they didn't).Oh well.
I knew someone was going to say that lol. Yeah, they do kill the monsters they fight. Though, it's more sugar-coated as opposed to MK. It's usually a flashy fireworks explosion with pretty light works and all when a PR dispatches of an enemy. Still, you're right, which only helps further concrete White Ranger's win/ability to take out Scorpion. I guess I should say that's the only time you'd see a PR graphically kill someone.

I saw recently SPBD and it's really awesome, and a real attempt to make that kind of battles come true, comparing to big studios of course. After seeing the White Ranger vs. Scorpion, I saw the old ones and all of them are very great too, and not all are comic book heroes as you can think, they made a battle between Lara Croft (Tomb Raider) vs. Nathan Drake (Uncharted) as well Darth Vader vs. Gandalf. As a tip, in FB page there're hints for some possible battles after the SPBD#11 (Cap. America vs. Master Chief), like Punisher vs. Red Hood, Batman & Nightwing vs. Cap. America & Hawkeye and Joker vs. Deadpool

The only thing is that they can't mimic Tommy Oliver wich was The Green and White Ranger that much. İn the shows, Tommy was a furious fighter with speed and attacking. He was kicking, punching, doing a salto, than jumps again and tornado kicks multiple times and so on. So he actually waits less for the opponent to attack since he is strong in will. İ miss that in those videos. Hope that Jason David Frank does this and actually repraises the Great Tommy We know in Power Ranger's Super Megaforce.
That looks really Great there. İt looks like Captain America's suit is based on the one from The Movie.
