I love this character, in the comics, just a bad dude. This is a great MUGEN release, for a BETA, IMO. I have been using him a lot. The sprites are great and I really like his move set, etc.. Wish there was a way to incorporate him picking up his opponents style as you play and maybe "stealing" their moves, but really that's not maybe possible for MUGEN, or for a coder. As is, this is my favorite newly released Char since a good while. A fully finished version could be the best char put out this year.

Because he forgot to put sprite 0,0.

If you can, open the .sff and duplicate one of his sprites, then rename it 0,0.

(Optional, not needed) After that:
- edit his .def file and change every "act\" with "act/";
- edit the "mugenversion" from "0.95" to "1.0".

Gah, 4button MvC3 style... otherwise awesome character.

I dont see a problem with those hitboxes. The red is supposed to match how the sword was swung. If people had the time and will to sprite every single frame in, then you'd see the sword, in action, where all of the red is at. But those sprites dont exist.
Adding blue hitboxes to a weapon can add balance but the way the author made it is how he feels it's balanced. Maybe the recovery is 3 or 4 tics longer than any other move that would cover the same ground. I'm sure there's characters that do high roundhouse kicks that mimic those hitboxes, but then the char goes right into a standing pose. Who knows. I personally like character/body accurate hitboxes. We're playing mugen, not MvC3 or what ever game.

To me, those bill kane collision boxes are atrocious.
I mean, how much air can I attack in front of his gut??  Why is his shin totally invulnerable?? Dhalsim would be able to do a crouching punch or a slide under the attack to hit his leg but whiff on the rare occasion... and that's the basic A attack.

Anyways, Taskmaster looks great but I'm going to stay away from 3button chars.
