NOTE: These are ripped straight off of dolphin emulator plus my comp dosen't run newer games so dolphin is the prior example which means i can easily rip the sounds from there. What fucks up the mood is that when ryu does his shin shoryuken or his shinkuu tatsumaki senpuukyaku, the sound FX go right with it so you guys have to bear with it unless i fuck around with the sound settings a bit more.

UPDATE: Ryu is now complete. I finally manage to rip all of his sounds from the soundtest from the character gallery Ill be taking request if anyone wants me to rip other characters.

If you unlock a character's gallery, there is a soundtest of their voices without SoundFX, unless you are already doing that. (It's been awhile)

Thanks a lot for the info MGF i'll definitely re-rip ryu's voice samples. then work on other characters. ^_^

EDIT: Ryu is finally Re-Ripped and SFX free.

Presumably, all you have to do is earn enough points?/credits? to unlock the character gallery in the game.  And supposedly, there's a way to playback all the sounds pertaining to the character in question........ I'd check it out for myself, but my computer's too slow to run the game in Dolphin, and the sounds get all choppy at parts anyway, so I'm still left with the option of asking people who have 5 GHz computers, 10GB of memory, and a 50-core GFX card to do the ripping for me.

Hey guys sorry for the delay; it seems like college work pretty much just got in the way and i didn't have the time to do the rest of the rips. But the progress of ripping TVC sounds is going slowly but steady and i manage to rip out Chun-li, Rock Volnutt and roll's voice at the same time and will be posted shortly.

EDIT: Chun-li, Rock Volnutt, and Roll are now avalible. Alex, Saki, and Casshern Will be posted tomorrow night.

EDIT 2: Alex, Saki, And Casshern are Now Avalible, However Saki And Casshern are raw wave files (meaning all of their voices into one huge file)  and not splitted like the rest of the characters but it will have to do for now until i update their soundpack.

Thanks a lot Rkmugen I'll be Definitely looking forward to your chun-li. I already ripped some of her soundFX especially her LV3 super which is cool.

I hope you don't mind me sharing some of your sound fx you ripped a while ago. But if anything, you can ask me to delete it at anytime. ^_^

I don't mind at all!

But you know, the only thing that i think is left are the actual sound effects to be ripped.  (not the voices)

Like when Chun does her attacks, in addition to her vocals, there are also the various air-whooshes and bursts that accompany it.
I'm hoping you'll be able to get around to that set of sounds as well later on.

But so far, this is excellence!

My only other gripe is that the sounds are kinda low in terms of volume... I'm trying to increase the volume of the sounds through GoldWave, but many of them sound rather screechy after a certain percentage of increase.  Tough to balance, but I think she'll sound perfect in the end!

EDIT:  oh... ok, I downloaded your updated announcer+SFX pack.... VERY nice!  now... if only I can get it all in before the week is out...  o.O

On that note I Just saw your vid on youtube, Incredible! I'm actually Loving these effects on your chun-li as well as the glass shattering effect you made in photoshop. Great to see that you are definitely making progress there rkmugen.

As for Casshern and Saki who has those one big file voice packs; they are actually updating in less than an hour from now.

EDIT: Both Saki & Casshern are now updated.

Wow I didnt relize there new BGM Music for the VS Characters was there but ill definitely Check it out.

EDIT: it turns out that it was a custom made track for destined character Vs character matches. Not sure what type of song it is, and it's definitely not available in the gallery which will be a bitch to rip :(

Thanks for your excellent work on such a massive undertaking!

I'm wondering what is the exact audio setting you're using for your emulator?  Also, what setting are you using for your audio program to actually save the sound files?

I noticed that when I increase the volume for some of the sounds, they sort of sound distorted as if they're only sampled in a very low bit-rate.

You know... like higher pitched sounds sound muffled... like how "S's" sound more like "SHh's".

Do you think there is anything else you can do either on the emulator's sound plug-in or the sound editing program to increase the quality of the sound samples?

To answer your question, I have used the dolphin-DSP Plugin as a default plugin, then i would use creative wavestudio to record the sounds which was easier then i would save them using adobe soundbooth CS3 to increase the db volume quality and save the selected sounds needed to save all of the selected voices that's needed so that it dosen't sound muffled. I haven't quite mess around with the emulator's sound plug in since i leave things at normal.

there is both Soki AND Saki in this game.

also .. i cant believe i didnt think of this method earlier to rip there voices..

i only have Roll available in my Gallery. (i cant read japanese so i never unlocked the others)
must download savefile!

but THANKS ALOT FOR RYU'S SOUND FILE!
he will work great for my Holy Ryu.

Doronjo and Hakushon Daimaoh are finally up on the front page, looks like I'm Pretty much done with the TVC cast for now until "Ultimate All Stars" Jumps in the Scene then ill start ripping those from scratch. But for Now, just kick back and enjoy until that game comes out that is. ^_^

Doronjo and Hakushon Daimaoh are finally up on the front page, looks like I'm Pretty much done with the TVC cast for now until "Ultimate All Stars" Jumps in the Scene then ill start ripping those from scratch. But for Now, just kick back and enjoy until that game comes out that is. ^_^

Announcer + Sound FX Pack (Updated 05/22/09)

NOTE: These are ripped straight off of dolphin emulator plus my comp dosen't run newer games so dolphin is the prior example which means i can easily rip the sounds from there. What fucks up the mood is that when ryu does his shin shoryuken or his shinkuu tatsumaki senpuukyaku, the sound FX go right with it so you guys have to bear with it unless i fuck around with the sound settings a bit more.

UPDATE: Ryu is now complete. I finally manage to rip all of his sounds from the soundtest from the character gallery Ill be taking request if anyone wants me to rip other characters.



Hey! If you don't mind, Would it be okay if I could use these sounds for my toonami screenpack?

All 5 Characters from Ultimate All Stars are now uploaded on the front page. Just wanna let you heads up that these are 1 Giant Wav files & for all those who would like me to do the split versions as well as the new announcer stuff will have to be patient but for now these will have to do.

With that said, I guess ill be taking a nap!! In America :P

Edit: Turns out Audacity 1.2 can't read 1.3 converted sounds, I'm assuming anyway.

Sorry for the long wait but... Zero is now Updated with seperate sounds at the main section.

EDIT: Announcer + Sound FX Section is also Updated ~ Added all new Announcer sounds from UAS with some sound effects Included. Looks like the CGOH Announcer + the rest of the characters are also getting an update with seperate sounds so expect from that soon.
