It's cool. The screenpacks look great, I hope the final product isn't TOO flashy though.

I can't just tell Kamekaze to "be better" on AI Levels. He'll see your feedback, I'm sure.
It's probably because the randomizers he uses are not different enough depending on the AI level. POTS came out with the best formula up to this day, for randomization purposes :
[mcode]
trigger1 = blabla && (XXX * (AIlevel ** 2 / 64.0))
[/mcode]
With XXX being how much you want it to be performed at max, so usually values between 50 and 250.

Aye EX's screenpacks are a bit too flashy and dark. Personally I think a motif that should be kept in the screenpack for the game is Earth. It's been incorporated in almost every Capcom fighting game. Mainly something similar to MvC1, except a tad more busy. :P

I'm interested in hearing these opinions, what would be "too flashy" ?

Using either dark, grim colors (red, black, gray, etc.) in unison with metals like silver or gold, y'know, how people have screenpacks that don't use vibrant colors and give you a feeling of "you're doomed". Although it's based on Tekken 6, on the picture on the top to the top right, the second picture from the top, the picture with Benimaru in it, AND the two lifebars under it are all examples of this. They look good, yes, but a little bit out of character.

In a game like this, the screenpack could benefit from using lighter and brighter colors, the yellows, oranges, greens, beiges, etc. Like what Dynamo said, it looks good if it's busy, but this is MUGEN, so I don't expect that from anyone. The subliminal message you should send isn't "WELCOME TO HELL, PERFORM OR DIE" like on some games like Melty Blood, but more like "GET READY FOR THE TIME OF YOUR LIFE". The lifebar can look fairly simple and blend in to the artstyle, rather than looking like it belongs to another game, something that Street Fighter 3 and Capcom Vs. SNK 1 (idk about 2) did well.

That's just my opinion, in the end I don't make the screenpack so do it however you guys want to do it and it won't make no difference to me.

You pretty much summed up everything I wanted to say about the SP. Capcom has always incorporated a happier tone with its menus :P

What kind of artwork? Portraits and such? I appreciate any kind of help you want to provide, just let me know what you can do.
Son, the last thing you'll realize you need is what you've already got.

Yeah I would just need to see what you're going for in this project. I always loved those concept sketches capcom has floating around the net. Since I know you have a lot of new sprites to do, I could probably help with animations.

That being said pm me again MDD, you were asking about something a while ago.

You mean that thing that Balthazar was helping me with but hasn't worked on in months? Sure.

Also, Sean, do you plan on using 6 or 12 palettes per character?

Not sure yet. Probably just 6, since it's less work.

You know I'm still waiting for you to give me a to-do list! You hardly provide me with any motivation XD

I don't think if 12 palettes will be a problem, once you post a template you're bound to get at least a dozen ;)

12 wouldn't be a problem at all.

Did you even ask Titiln for the log? :P

I am the project's palette guy. There will be no template because I said so.
