actually back in the ezboard dev days most of those that donated said they donated (there was a thread). granted, most of those that donated aren't interested in mugen anymore.

I don't really care if they're "unfindable" 2009 marks the start of my search for elecbyte or anyone that was involved...

Things I know:
They disappeared mid-2001.
The address they registered their hostname under isn't an actual address, but the address of a church.
Their domain is monkey.net (not really gonna help)
They have no contact info connected to "elecbyte"
Webmaster, Webadmin, and any kind of email attached to elecbyte.com is no longer working

I'm sure a lot of this is old info, but I can keep it here anyways.... I'm doin this because I'm tired of this freakin mystery surrounding them... Anyone else got any info? Not trying to sound rude. confused

I remember seeing a name whenever I looked at the .exe in the hex editor. Whether or not that person has any actual connection to elecbyte is beyond me though.

Well, someone is keeping the Elecbyte website updated. It's now showing as 1999-2009. That kind of stuff doesn't magically happen on it's own unless it was scripted to do so, which the text for the dates are declared outside of the scripting. So someone did that manually.

there were some rumours that part elecbyte was some well known mugen creators back then, as in very founded rumours, still those creators are also unreachable.
