Lifebars are nice but they feel really bland..

Also your vs screen is nice however the font blends with the bg.

Yeah I didn't like the lifebars too much either, better to use your own. They aren't ready. I'll see if I can fix that VS screen problem? Maybe I can make the font red?

Hrm, I dunno, the black and white looks good and I think red would distract from it. I think if you moved the text down to the bottom and had a black banner running at the bottom to make the white text visible.

Also the game over screen is really out of place, surely there's something from the actual animated series that would work better?

This is how you recognize a character is polished or not : when small details are taken care of to provide the best experience possible.

It doesn't look like an edit anyhow.
Either that, or I don't know, which screenpack has been edited here...

Um, I saw, that Screenpacks were also posted in "Your releases". Shouldn't it be actually there, if this is not edited?
Just a question.

All screenpacks should go in the edits and addons section. If you see screenpacks posted in the regular release section, please report it to the mods.

A few other things:
  • The option screen seems a bit weird to me, I'm not really sure what the room is supposed to be or what the clipboard is supposed to represent. I think a better options screen would be a shot of the batcomputer, you could probably snag something from one of the Batman games on the SNES or Genesis.
  • The spotlight effect on the select screen and versus screen would look better if you used transparency rather than flickering it.
  • I had a small idea for the lifebars: you could probably fit a smaller version of the art deco text above the lifebars. As for a super bar, I think you could resize the health bar and place it two on the bottom of screen to make super bars pretty easily.

The options is suppose to be Arkham, the nut house, a stretcher can be seen and the rooms where the mental patience will reside in. The clipboard is the doctor's which would typically have like a log, notes, etc. So I figured it would be good for a menu.

I can't seem to get rid of that blue box that the options menu has...

The flickering was done to give some more life to that screen, but I guess it would look better transparent?

For the lifebars I'll try anything, they really need work.

Thanks for the ideas.

@dark_light,

You can add as many slots as you want but there are 8 slots total as of this first release.

If that's the case, then there are too many to report them all.
One screenpack was even moved from "Edits & Add-ons" to "Your releases", because I noticed, that it wasn't edited.
Uhm, I think, we should stop derailing now.

Ah, I see. Then perhaps you could add a letterhead or something to the bottom of the paper, maybe with "Arkham Asylum: INTERNAL USE ONLY" or something like that. I dunno just spitballing here.
