The best video recording software for MUGEN?

My surname is not Foster, FYI.

I have a licensed copy of Fraps, but the FPS counter won't show up when I start MUGEN, indicating that it's not a game.

So what's the best screen recording software to make MUGEN videos? I can't use HyperCam because the sound won't work, and Fraps is pretty much the only screen recording software that I can use for however long I want since I have a full version.

If the FPS counter isn't showing up by default then you probably forgot to config the mugen.cfg file to allow Fraps to record it.

You have to go the video configurations and set RenderMode = OpenGLScreen and BlitMode = PageFlip.

Fraps might lag during recording depending on your computer's performance.

^ Actually it depends on how many FPS I set it to record. The FPS counter goes up to 60, so I set it to 60fps.

That's not what you were talking about. You said the counter doesn't show.

Did you edit mugen.cfg?

A lot of people dont like hypercam, they think its lame, poor, slow, laggy, bad, horrible. But it's really not all that bad. Its easy to use and the quality is good. Just fix the settings that fit well with your pc, and it should come out good.
