Nice to see some progress on JANET!!

About Mei, in her jab anim, her forward leg moves too much IMO.
since LP anims are fast they should involve really slight movement.

New select screen is far better now, nice update.

man those are classic bro! you  and sean altly are very talented and creative with your original character concepts and the fact that you two plan to collab on a project is too epic for words, best of luck with your projects bro I know its tough balancing RL/Work/commissions all while maintaining motivation to bring your own vision to the community so just stay encouraged man

I think you should be really careful with Mei's poses and animations - she leans very far backwards, and most of her attacks don't even seem to extend past her front foot! Consider her hurtboxes and how close she will be able to stand to her opponent without clipping through them. If her moves has such short range but her leg (and thus hitbox) extends so far forward that her opponents can easily hit her, she'll be at a pretty major disadvantage.


Even for a "close" attack the range of this move is extremely short - if there's any kind of pushback on the first punch, surely the second one will whiff!

Looking at the other animations too, almost every one of them look like they will have pretty much zero range.
Just something to keep in mind.


On another note, do you have particular nationalities in mind for your characters? I'm asking because most of them have kind of odd names. Don't take this as criticism; you're free to name your characters as you wish of course. I'm just kinda curious where the names come from.

Mei Body blow uppercut dont stays in one place,Its part of her command Chain command Weak punch,Medium punch into <----Holding foward into a strong punch, Its Move forward abit, And i see what what you mean when you say some short moves range,Ill fits that soon, I might just Extend and re-edit a few things to make it seem like it reach more, and to, Well the Odd Names came inspiration from DBZ when i was Younger i use to come up with name that sound Different n not too much plain and also with art Styles



But here more Details a lil bit
Mei (beautiful) Koshian ---is food(Inspire by DBZ with weird names)
Nationality- Mei Is Chinese, born in hongkong

Fighting style = Chinesse Boxing mix with Tai chi( they gonna pretty mix up with combination moves
Chi- Cutting Wind


What im going for is liek sfxtk Commands chains,But Dead or alive reversal system,With just Street fighter alpha Style.

What it will have like i said before

IMO You might need to make the fence a bit taller and perhaps bigger since the point of view would be from someone watching behind the fence.

Nice artwork but, really would like to see that Kairi  update and Asuka completion. I mean do your thing but, coders are on fire right now. It would be nice to see your hard work come to life, once again. Oh yeah, here is a idea of what I was talking about. It's just a rough concept idea, I will do more if this is what your looking for.
