Hey MFG peeps so I have decided to a topic about the Boondocks so what are you're thoughts about the new season.
a discussion thread of one of my favorite shows.this show beats the hell outta all the shows in the media nowadays that are pathetic and have bad taste in humor.for people who don't knowhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Boondocks_(comic_strip)http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Boondocks_(TV_series)the boondocks actually started out as a comic in the late 90s.and then went on air in 2005.both comics and show were controversial. especially when huey's character is a young domestic terrorist and said some choice words by the beginning of the pilot.what do you think about the show and especially about the characters?

The new season was an absolute piece of shit, I hear. I'm not fucking watching it. Why they would make another show without creator Aaron McGruder is beyond me (it is not beyond me, the studio wanted more episodes), he wrote or co-wrote pretty much every episode. You can't get rid of the creative voice of the series. You end up with shit.that said I'm pretty pumped for his new show, Black Jesus

but that episode was devoid of any humor really. the jokes about homosexuality were bad taste and lacked any conviction behind them and the characters were just boring cliches, which old Boondocks wouldve used to take shits on.

This neutered, shitty Boondocks can only piss its pants and tries to call it high art.
this season was pretty shit imo. I think it's because McGruder wasn't doing it. I really didn't like this season at all.
