It was one of my first sprites, I took the original Magma Dragoon sprite and sized it a lot to Akuma's height.

I may redo it in general.

This was gonna be a custom Skarlet. I never liked her shoulder pads... and I was playing with her hair. Her arms were also going to be covered in and dripping blood.

I don't think that I should waste anymore time on trying to finish this.

Here's my references.

Q(left) jacket and shoes, Q(top)- pants, shirt, and other black & white details, Ryu- size comparison,  Hugo- skin, buttons, and hair, SF4 Guile- trace, Alpha Guile- general comparison

Interesting thread you made here, Balt :D Also I've some edits I made that are unfinished, mainly because were made in the time I stopped to sprite just to focus on coding... here's the first:

Eiji Shinjo from Battle Arena Toshinden, based of course in MVC2 Hayato. It supposed to look like this, but I lost inspiration so I never touched it again. Also I made this:

I always thought that a good conversion of Dante (DMC) should come from Jotaro Kujo, but I lost interest on finishing him few time after starting this. He should look like DMC1 Dante, but I don't see it yet...

They both look good, and respect the classic look of each character.

Well done.

You're so close to finishing that Eiji you may as well do it.  Just change the palette on his pants, give him some tape on his forearms, give him his ankle things then change the palette on his gloves and shoes and that's a good start.

Thanks Wizzy and MC2 ;) good tips, I think I could make something with them after all...

And here I show you more of my unfinished edits. Starting with these 2:

Haggar from Namco X Capcom and Freeza from DBZ Hyper Dimension. The common point of these 2 was the resize and then the manual edit to fit in an average size (in the case of Haggar, I used Hulk's head which later had to be edited), but I lost interest on these 2 because of the tedious of the process. But it wasn't the first time I did it, already I worked on it with my CVS3 Adon

And these 2 are just unfinished sprites. The first one it was a new base for Batsu, this time with the upper base of ROTD Pepe, but never was concreted. The 2nd one was for an old Guild contest about dressing fighters with normal clothes, for Reiji I was making a formal clothes, but apart of getting out of the contest for time, I never touched it again...

I say yes, this thread is for general unfinished sprites, AFAIK

Well, techically it's unfinished, but hopefully this counts. (Animation isn't quite finished in the legs and needs major refinement)

Not my sprites but rather something I came across after Googling "Capcom unfinished sprites".

They are supposed to be scraps from a SFA2 Zangief Backflip animation.

Anyone here care to finish them?

soo where all the SFA sprites firts sketched in a higger resolution ??? WTF where is all that data???
Take a look to my current wips
