I wanna know more about the kind of stuff that happened with mugen. I read the encyclopedia dramatica page but I think it maybe a little biased.

Umm...... Uhhhh....... Encyclopedia Dramatica is NOT the first place you want to get 100% true facts from. It's more of a joke site in my opinion.

You are better off getting info from a Wikipedia article, a wiki site dedicated to it, or Elecbyte themselves.

If you want some little background of at least winmugen's leak and stuff, the NoLimit WinMUGEN patch had a little readme thingy that had its story.

For the history of M.U.G.E.N development, read the documents that come with the unofficial Winmugen. Visit Elecbyte's website for more information.

If you want to learn more about M.U.G.E.N related drama, check out the Hall of Fame and lurk around a week or two...

Only thing ED's good enough for is highlighting just how sad things can get around here.

Fortunately the things on the ED article are pretty outdated now.

We need some kind of MUGEN documentary, that'd be pretty sweet.

Old tales speak that the ancient creators created the Moojin as a way to fulfill the wishes of warriors across the many lands and eras. It was a gateway to dreams... however it was a gateway to hell. Before the Moojin was perfected by the creators a mere mortal stole it and shared it across the world. Humans began to create warriors and arenas for it, many of these warriors imitated likenesses of real warriors. Some of these humans create unhealthy bonds with these warriors, some even get enraged if another warrior isn't done properly and not accurate to the real one. Many moons passed until the Moojin was a common thing and any normal human could create whatever he desired, modifications for the engine were released, allowing for more realistic and accurate warriors and arenas.

However all was not well, many clans emerged from the Moojin as many had differences over use of another human's work. Work such as... rocks... and lights... and dirt... and trees... using these without permission from the original person who took the item from the Earth caused conflict with the humans. So these clans spread far apart and separated themselves form one another, some clans even forbid their clansmen to talk to other clans, at times these souls would be executed right on the spot. Many clan leaders called the other clans.. "Faggots" and "Jabronis" and even claimed they were into very kinky things. Years passed with these wars and conflicts until the creators returned, they left the world a new Moojin to work with, a newer and sleeker one. This only made matters worse

Many were skeptical about this new Moojin, many were too attached to their old one and didn't want to move on, the rest began to work for the new one right away. With this new Moojin, warriors became more humanlike, they were able to act fiercer and stronger than ever before, new arenas could be made to please everyone, everyone except the fools who stuck with the old. The old users demanded that new content be transferred to the old Moojin, the new Moojin creators said it was impossible as the old one could not handle its power. Now most have passed on to the new Moojin, the old is long gone, and clans have mostly died out, now there is an era of peace and progress, the creators have returned in rare visits and promise us a better Moojin than ever before, we shall have to wait.

WinMugen sucks.
