Switched from "oldmugen" to 1.0


"The King Of Pocket" crossover project with Neo Geo Pocket style sprites with refreshed look by adding shadows, fast gameplay and roster including characters from diffrent series.

Updated Gameplay:
    4 Buttons
    Run/Dash Forward
    Dash Backward
    Super Jump
    Launcher
    Throws
    Basic Moves
    Ex Moves
    3 levels of Super Moves
    Rage Moves
    Power Charge
    Dodge
    Zero Counter
    Parry
    Taunt

Planed Gameplay Features:

    Striker Super Moves

Roster will include 27 characters:

9 Capcom
9 SNK
9 Other (Dragon Ball, Guilty Gear, Tekken...)

1 Character designed by me as final Boss

"SUPER ULTRA SECRET FINAL BOSS OTHER THAN ANTHING ELSE", so far I am the only person from Mugen to see him, all I can say he will be steampunk style.

Short after Kyo I want to release first KOP beta, it will include 6 characters, few stages (some new), Screenpack and Lifebars.

I really like this. The shading style is nice, and fits properly.
(this is what I should did on PDC, but whatever)

I see some really nice aditions there.

Good luck, pal. If you need something from PDC, just take it.

Yea, but than character creations is much longer, but if you have minions to do it for you...  ;P
thats why I make tKOP characters slow, 'cause I have to edit sheets.

Great list of Characters. İ like this Game project. What about Stages man? You will be Spriting them in the same way too?

Nah, I use sprites from classic games that fits (more or less) in this style.

Is this a problem?

Something I noticed: C.Viper is the only char (well, Sheng Long too) which doesn't have black border on the hair

Yea, Jill has too and if you look at her shoes youll notice that their soles dont have black line too, its just for better look.

Looking good! The shade is the best one ive seen on a SVC Pocket sprite.

About the fighthing system. I think is a bit messy and to be honest, little uninspiering. Maybe you should do something more original, less combo-ish, less buttons, more stuck to the ground gameplay. So you wont be compared to any other pocket project aroud. Parry and Zero Counter are a bit to much. Plus, parry can be really cheap. Also, the Destroy GG move, that's just as bad as the original GG. People will be using this a lot and not have as much fun as they could. Guard Push and Guard Crush are much more balanced, maybe you could use button like in Last Blade to defend an attack and open the opponents guard. Power Charge is just as cheap.
