You heard the title. Whats the scariest fatality you've ever experienced?

In my opinion, this is the scariest, but it diden't scare me.
Good news for all of you.

I'm banned forever.

Please, just let the ban quietly pass and whatever you do, I beg you, DO NOT CHEER. Do not celebrate that you've won about the fact that I'm banned forever. Let it slide, PLEASE DO NOT CHEER. Don't cause me to shitpost again. I didn't even recall making a shitty post before I got perma'd. I hated this forum anyway. It doesn't even feel I'm taking part in a MUGEN forum.

Well, ungoodbye to you all and I hope you all burn in hell.

Jax armrip fatality in MK 2, the imagination of getting your arms ripped off ..thats way more scary than being killed in seconds, beside that the most fatailitys arent scary really

Fatalities are Happy tree Friends-level violence, nothing to get shocked or scared, honestly.

The only thing you should be scared is the level of ridiculousness that some of the fatalities had AKA I have 3 ribs, 5 legs, and 13 arms.

Some are more humorous then shocking (MK3 Fatalities, anyone?)

There are a few in Eternal Champions: Challenge from the Dark Side that made me cringe a little bit. Namely the tree impalment in Dawson's stage.

Fixed.

But even still, some are brutal. Like Sheeva pulling your skin right off.

a lot of the eternal champions ones are very effective mainly because of the extra detail and how understated they were. it was like, a normal fighting game then suddenly your character gets horrifically mutilated out of nowhere

namely the chemical spill one where the victim screams for their life as they dissolve, and they finally DO rise up as their hair, eyes, and arms have all melted off, then they sort of just implode into themself

not really a 'scary' fatality but quan chi's leg beatdown is just very satisfying if said opponent pissed you the fuck off

sooner or later, everybody puts up with xiangfei

Yeah, the first one was scary, but the ones with the rolling cylinders are the most brutal. The spiky cylinder was scary too.

All of the DeathRips in Death Cargo, because it's scary that someone would think those are actually anything but hilariously stupid looking.

On a serious note, Hanzo's Zetsumei Ougi in Samurai Shodown 5/Special makes me cringe even to this day.  The bone breaking, ughhhhhh.

The DeathRips are far more worse than any fatality combined. Especially Leach's "Leatherface" Deathrip. >_< EUUUUGH. I can't believe that Youtube allowed that amount of realistic gore.

I wouldn't say scary. But MKII had the best fatalities of the entire series. MKI had some of tje most violent ones, but MKII took everyrhing to the next level with some really gruesome and impactful finishing moves. MKIII played a little smoother, but the fatalities generally sucked as they got goofy.

It seems with netters tech, creativity falls short. I wasn't too impressed with MK9's offerings even though they were decent. But I'm a MKII diehard. :sugoi:
All of your Mugen Portrait needs may be found HERE.

I'd like to report two robots on the MFG forums: One is EXShadow. The other is Saikoro.

Personally I never found fatalities "scary" more brutal than anything because of the fact of what they are doing to their opponent.
I found brutalities pretty b.a looking at people get beat till they exploded untill i played mortal kombat 3, did a brutality and noticed there were 25478123 arms and legs all over the ground.
That killed it for me. Now fatalities are just normal to me i dont even find them creepy anymore

I like fatalities so long as they are somewhat unique and original... I do get tired of seeing the same ole overdone head rips, skull/spine rips, heart rips, etc, and such crap that seems like it's been done over and over and over and over again a billion times by a billion people from a billion games... I also don't like if blood and fatalities are the only thing a game has going for it... Blood is great, but there needs to be good game play, chars, storylines, otherwise what you get is like the garbage backyard wrestling of fighting games.... I love some of the fatalities in MK but then some of them are just plain old cliche.

BACK IN 1992 the scariest fatalities for me were all the beheading ones. I had this in Sega Genesis.

My mom was particularly concerned about Sub-Zero ripping out spines, but for me it was all about Raiden's exploding the opponent's head into a thousand blood splatters. Seeing that headless body drop slowly into the ground was the ultimate for me.
