Welp the premier is tomorrow night and from what I can see of the previews and trailers the characters, zombies, and look is spot on. Anyone else looking forward to it?

Me...it's on in an hour and some change.
While watching Zombieland, I thought to myself that a zombie TV series would be perfect....oddly enough, the writers of Zombieland said that the original concept was for a TV series.

Now we have one.

I've been reading the comics of this for a while now.  And while I've downloaded it, I still need to watch it.

1 fucking word. Epic. It's used a lot on the internet, but damn it's spot on here. MY GOD THE PRODUCTION VALUES ARE FUCKING INSANE. I love how they fleshed out more of the characters and how Rick got out of the Hospital and original town. I hope each episode is an hour an a half long.

tl;dr best fucking zombie based t.v. show ever and keeps close to the source material without going full retard.  :dio:

Watch out Sopranos...if Walking Dead continues to be as good as the premiere, we'll have a new champion for "Greatest Show of All Time".

It was just something else entirely with Live action and I don't think they ever mentioned much about Morgan's wife in the comic. I'll have to go read the trade again tomorrow.

Watched it with some friends and aside from making Left 4 dead references I enjoyed it. Even watched the two reruns.

FYI theres a good easter egg of Romero's first zombie from Night of the Living Dead I recently caught. Good stuff.  :sugoi:

Show is fucking great, 10/10.

Opening episode is even way better than the comics first few chapters, and I love the comics.

I'm so anxious for tonight at 10pm, the premiere here will be at that hour, I can't wait to see this :D even various friends found already ripped weeks ago, but I'll stick to see it in TV with the lights off and high volume :twisted:

had to download it.

here in the german empire the show will..if ever maybe released somewhen in 2011, but since we have kinda strict violence / gore laws here i doubt it will be showed in tv here. even true blood was only showed on a payperview channel and even there on 11 pm.

the pilot was good, lets see how the normal episodes are.

I don't watch much TV, but I did watch this with my brother.  Great way to open the show, I love how they don't rely on jump scares.  Although I have to say that...one moment was kind of ruined because my brother was all "JUST SHOOT THE BITCH" and shit.  Still an awesome pilot.  Looking forward to the next episode.
