I think this is a fake. If not a fake it's the biggest spoiler in the WHOLE thread. I saw the image of Zombie-Merle and thought it was just a Photoshop. This photo comes from the same place.

^True. In one of the Talking shows they discussed it because a fan asked the same question.

They said, part of the aim of the show is to REALLY capture the feel of a zombie apocalypse...wherein people you like will eventually die.

Sometimes before you can even flinch or turn around to save them. Pretty much the law that applies is "save yourself".

God I fucking love this show. ...So much, that I started getting the books now.

That's a bit exaggerated. I don't think it's that predictable. Realistically who has that happened to besides Axel and Merle? The rest of the deaths weren't like that. If you said you were spontaneously a fan of Dale, Amy, Shane, Lori, Jim, Sophia, Otis, Patricia, or any others "10 minutes before they died" I'd question that a lot.

You forgot T-Dogg. T-Dogg got his moment. Carol, too (even though she didn't end up dying). And yes, I liked Shane, though it was more gradual with him.

And two in a row is enough for me to bitch about, regardless. :P

You became a fan of T-Dogg before his death to the point that it was "predictable"? I'm not questioning who you do and don't like, I just don't see how T-Dogg did anything making him a favorable character before his death. Saving Carol was more of a during his death kind of thing.

No, but T-Dogg having a badass solo zombie kill streak before he died set the stage for me to predict others.

I can't remember whether ZombieSurgeon!Carol was before or after her death.

I can see that then I guess.

Carol's was probably after her "death". Daryl finding her alone in that room gave viewers the sympathy factor. That, and the fact that she had "fought her way there."

I checked, it was two episodes before, in prep for Lori's murdersarian. Regardless, not 'ten minutes' and not 'dead', but still, badass. Point made but mangled. XD

Idk, I feel like you should've always been a fan of T-Dogg, I certainly was. Seems like this season though all of the token black guys have been killed. Feels bad man.

T-Dogg didn't really say or do much until the third season and occasionally on the 2nd season though. He was kind of just there.
