I liked his low-key role though. He was a physically able "voice of reason" within the group. Then again I'm always rooting for the black guys in these kinds of shows/movies.

Also, T-Dogg wasn't dumb!

T-Dogg was a joke until right before he died. He got a throwaway line in each episode. He didn't show up for a while and my friend and I actually thought the writers forgot about him.

He was such a poor substitute for Tyreese.

Oscar though.

I miss Oscar too.

What is with the black man death sequence. Are they Highlanders?

Oscar is one of my favorite characters. Though when I heard the news about Tyreese, I pretty much thought "Well, shit", not because I don't like Tyreese, but because something told me Oscar was a goner.

holy shit, yea, they are really diverging from the comics all together. first with dale now this. I'm in complete awe as to where this goes now. The end felt a little lackluster in general, but I guess that's why they had the big death they did. Carol is now the official bad ass chick of the group other than michonne. 

Just wow. Didn't expect them to do that.

I like what they're doing with Carl. He's evolving into one of my favorite characters. Also, Beth killed her first walker.  :woeh:

I don't know about carl, he seemed to be acting like an ass at the end, seemed pissed they brought back more people. I think of all the characters, he's probably turning  the most into his comic self.

I noticed that too. They're kind of bringing Rick back to the "savior" protagonist he was in the beginning while Carl's becoming more stubborn and hesitant to bringing in new people. Pretty much how Rick temporarily was.

Sonequa probably got the push because her character's connected to Coleman's. Don't understand the Beth (Emily Kinney) push myself, though I never read the comics idk if her presence was more important there.

kinney is obviously the real tv version of sophia (who is still alive and kicking in the comics) so I understand her push to cast regular. 

I know there was a real sophia, but in the comics she's very close with carl and we lost that with her death. And it seems they have been doing that with kinney's character.

Don't really care for the Sasha character, but the actress looks good, so I can't be too mad at that. I am worried that there are 2 black women on the show now.................going by the show's history, one of them isn't making it through the season. Maybe it's just for men though.

Why would anybody worry that there are two black females in a show? Their human beings just like anybody else, and what do you mean by the show's history?, by killing a black actor and replaced by another? I think that was just confidence (imo i think), dont be suprised if at the end Michone makes it as the last survivor.

The black males were terrible and insignificant token chaacters. They were there just to fill the pc black quota. Michonne is actually a relevant and likeable character, I don't think she'll die soon.
