All this will force me to do is use more of my bandwidth torrenting the music outright instead of previewing it beforehand. Then I'll delete accordingly.

Won't this enforce piracy, rather than pacify it?

I see it this way: if I'm unable to purchase a CD because I have no money, what makes the music industry think I'm going to pay money to listen to music on these online radio platforms?

And what about the artists' say in this matter?  It would seem they get even more jack squat from their hard work.

Because they don't actually like the current system, it really sucks for them. Like, Spotify pays artists, and I shit you not here, $0.005 per song.
