English fluency I am swear!

Out of curiousity, (And absolute boredom.) how do you guys reconize other users on this forum?

A user's avatar, siggy, stars, or username is always changing. (Probably not posting style though.)
It's kinda hard for me to keep track of who said what.

So what method do you use to reconize other users?

For me it would be avatar and username.

Yeah people usually hover on their names to recognize them but that's the problem, the hover mod doesnt work on this forum so ﾉﾘ●∀●ﾘ IS really ﾉﾘ●∀●ﾘ for now (I can pronounce that IRL!)

Name, as before the forum updated if they looked unfamiliar you could just easily hover over their name and usually know who it really was. If not most of the time I just look straight to the avatar.

Rajaa first time I saw his/her posts I was kinda intimidated

Iced I think iced and Nio are the most normal here

Also, usually I know if they go by a different persona. For example, I'll always know who Jmorphman is, whether or not he's a cowboy, eldritch abomination Santa or a robotic chicken.

I disabled avatar display for that exact reason. I noticed I treated people differently based on their avatars, which is of course an undesired effect.

Sad thing is that he's right. The majority of users that I've met that have a Sonic avatar are idiots. I still need to meet one that acts like a normal user.

But I recognize people more by the way they post. Their sigs also helps a little sometimes.

Got avatars turned off. First thing I notice are the stars, and second is posting patterns like:
* Red - Admin post, gotta read
* Purple + Network = usually posts by Renzo or Cybasturd, which are interesting.
* Donator + Purple = usually posts by Jango or Abo, so it's a 50 50 shot of getting something interesting.
* Purple stars with a recognizable style like [E] (short posts taht maek no sense), DIO (Thought out 2 liners), or ShoShingo (3 liners with a mixture of the 2 aforementioned styles).
* No colored stars = auto ignore for the most part.

Anything I don't recognize right off the bat, I hover mouse over the poster username. I will ONLY memorize the names of those whose posts I disagree with, to easier know which posts to ignore, like jmorphman's posts which hold nothing of interest to me 97% of the time (sorry, the only example I could come up with off the top of my head, no disrespect)

I might be over-reading this, but technically when people say it's a 50/50 chance with 2 people, one puts the good posts on one of the 2 and the bad posts on the other $:-\$
