hmm..i wanted him to dash like Ryu or other shotos. They're rather sliding towards oponent than jumping. I don't remember how it looked in tekken games. But i will try to make another animation. The more practice the better...

Make Heihachi lean forward a bit during the middle part of the animation. IIRC That's how he dashes in T6.

whatever it was - dash or wavedash, i think that, leaning forward  is good idea because his upper body is a bit too static. i will try to change that. thanks!

Joe's (CvS) facial animation looks really bland IMO. It might look better if he opens his mouth when the arm extends.
Well, it's based on his light punch animation. He saves opening his cavernous mouth for... well, he opens it for pretty much every other attack. That slut.

Uh wow that was weird he's an update based on an animation Graphicus did

Dude, Thats a mean looking Tekken 3 Heihachi you got there. Amazing work overall! Are you going for a full sprite sheet?

@Flowrellik: Yes, I'm trying to do full sprite sheet for him. but I don't know if I am good enough to do that. I still have very much too learn about spriting and even more about animation. So I think about making this sprite sheet rather as a lesson to improve my skills in spriting.

Rayden is shaded all over places, which is weird. So is that blue guy. CVS style ALWAYS directs shading from STRAIGHT ABOVE. Somehow, that Rayden is like he's shaded like the sun hits you between 10-11 o clock side which is the KOF style. Plus the proportions are like thin. If Raiden is shaded straight above, the light hits directly to his straw hat, having the shade to be dark (not too much darkness). You may need to have, like, 3 dark tones for the shadow. I would say they all look pillow-shaded. Advice: You need to take direct lighting and shading by casting shadows. For example, if the light directs you forward in front, the light will not go to your back side, but shadow will. It's like you're holding a shield and somebody is throwing rocks at you.



It's good, but you may need a little clean up on the shading. (Agreed with Koopa.)



There's a light on the face. The cap looks like it's shaded like KOF style. I think you're trying to make it CVS-ish. Like I said on your Rayden, you need more fix and be directive with shading and lighting.

There are so many shadings all over the place on Norton. His forearms are shaded from the bottom which is not right. Oh no. Norton's right boot (our left side) is shaded from the right. However, his left is fine I think.

Douglas Bild's upper body is shaded like KOF style. That's not shaded straight from above. Plus his boots need to be shaded. You need to work on the shading right.

That classic Hayabusa looks excellent! I love it! ;D :sweetheart:

Oh, thank god Robert is still going. Nice progress on him, I just think that maybe his pony tail should move more since he's running.

There is something about his mouth I don't like it (opening and closing it maybe?). Overall looks really good.

Light source should always come from above the character. Yours look as if it's in front.
