Oh really? How about this. Instead of bringing down Chuchoryu's spriting work, why don't you just give feedback on how he can improve instead of saying it looks worse than most versions of the sprite?


Don't do that. Those types of responses will never help a person improve. Sure you're free to say what you want, but do you think it's helpful?

well he's not done art wise. animation wise it's a lot better than before




Wow, that does animate much better. Looks dramatically more human than before. Keep it up, I love seeing original characters!

Alright...making this guy was a f**king nightmare. I probably failed with shading this one :( In fact I'm not sure if it is stll cvs (or at least close to cvs). Feedback is welcome.

Oh geez, that Ammy is beautiful even without the detail. If Felo wasn't already busy with 10000+ projects and was accepting, I'd commission the HELL out of a sprite set.

It looks really good. My only nit picks would be the inaccuracy in the costume. It's missing the spiked collar, the studded wristbands, his belt has shrunken and is no longer studded for some reason, the "Z" on the belt is missing, the red portion of the boots should come up a lot higher, and the boots shouldn't have any laces. These may sound like a lot, but they are all just minor tweaks to add to an already great sprite.

Uche: Yes, boots need to be fixed. As well as few other things.
Drex: Yeah, I must work on that costume too. It will be updated soon.

And how about shading / cvs feel of the sprite? You know guys - strictly technical stuff. I wasn't sure about that white highlite. Is it acceptable in cvs sprites?

Yes the shading looks good from what I can tell.The only thing that threw me off about his shading is that the deep gray shade on the right thigh looks a little misshapen/wobbly and the deep gray shade is a little thick, but I can't really sat that it's TOO thick. It just stood out to me initially, that's all.. There are plenty of characters that have shiny spots be it on their shoes, shoulder pads or even their bald head so you're fine.

Mech Zangief is awesome!! I would just suggest you to use Dictator's "gauntlets" for metal references. Also, you could take some licenses in the design, specially where Drex pointed out.

Now we're gettin' into metal, this is still incomplete. Even not 100% CvS(mostly because of size), I think this is the correct place to it. As some of you know, I'm making a "1sprite/outfit" for the tekken chars. I'm going with an alphabetical order, but Mishimas are an exception(also Nina :P ). By the way...metal+Mishima...this is the last outfit I still have to do for Kazuya. Each other has been finished, coloured and etc.


^Of course, Alien colours are a MUST in my work @_@!!

Sabockee, I'm no expert on CvS metallic shading but that loks darn nice  :yugoi:!
FeLo I'm not familiar with Metal Kazuya, but that looks promising!
