MC2 said, July 25, 2011, 08:36:19 amThe fellow on the far left is meant to be Death, the boss from the scrapped CFAS right? Yeah. Based on his silhouette and a few vastly different reports on what he looked like at location testing. Kain R. Heinlein comparisons, mention of the color blue, and the silhouette on the flyer turned into that. I meant to do Rook and modify Ingrid to be more CvS accurate, but I never .....cared enough about them to bother, really. Oops!
Hey Judas. PrimeOp told me about you for your CVS tutorial. Yours look really awesome. The only sprite I've seen is Gina. And now the others, wow. Look amazing there.
Cazaki said, July 24, 2011, 11:22:51 pmFrom the thighs down is is almost perfect, however the left shoe (Her left.) needs a touch up, it looks like it's detached from her ankle. The shorts look something like some sort of SF2 style and I really don't know how you could improve them, they just don't look CVS style. The right foream (Her right.) could use a bit of distinction from the shorts and have some sort of detail on them. The muscles on her arms should be better defined, but you don't have any muscular CvS2 woman sprites to go on I don't think so that's okay. The collars don't look believable, and you should study them a bit more, because the back of it is "hugging" her neck. Her breasts are not only saggy grandma tits, but they don't even look like how the real character's is. No need to be modest, make them look how they are supposed to. And the hands...I don't how you can, but try to improve them further. thank you for the advice
Amuromorphman said, July 29, 2011, 04:44:37 amThis is why I don't sprite.freaky arm movements O.o, Dark Hadou Sakura made my day tho XD
On the other hand, this worked out well. But the previous one... yeah, I dunno what I'm gonna do for that. I need help.
I think the only part that's wrong about that walk is that the arms swing twice with each single step. Change that to a single swing per step and it should look more normal. Now, you may find that you don't have enough frames for the single swing VS frames of legs, but you'll need to fill in some frames in between with minor movement.

Yeah, off of Sonic Battle. Here comes my constructive criticism, even if you don't want to hear it. His right ear's coloring is odd. Perhaps you were trying to make it so that it's in the shad but it doesn't look right. The socks are off. If you actually know how they are supposed to be, you'll know that they are off, I'll fetch some images if you need me to. The shoes, well, more specifically the left shoe (His left of course.) looks kind of...off. I think it's the shape. Sonic's shoes are more round, they don't actually cut the length toward the end for his toes. His left glove is too big and the fingers are all out of wack, whereas the right glove has an index finger that's too long/pointy and his middle finger is too wide. His mouth is a little bit too big and his nose looks off somewhat. And he looks a little too broad, his legs, arms and all that just make him look more like a midget than a hedgehog. The sprite is great, though that's just what's off to me thus far.
Ah, so every single thing is wrong with him. Good to know. Round is pretty hard to do with pixels. The proportions come directly from that sprite. I doubled the size and drew a new sprite over it. I kept the proportions the same. I don't see a problem with the socks, and I've been playing Sonic games all my life. Here's an Axel sprite. And here's an updated Sonic:
