DGO said, January 16, 2012, 09:28:30 pmanother oneface and hair look too close to the original in my opinion, but maybe that can't be helped? everything else is on point. great work!
SNT said, January 12, 2012, 04:30:18 pmMan, I'm out of practice. I still suck at faces, and the proportions seem a little off with her as well.VF5 Sarah? Nice...
newboyflow said, January 18, 2012, 09:16:40 pmnot fully doneNot fully CvS either. The proportions are all off. Try using Yuri for the upper body and Nakoruru for the lower body as references.GalFord said, January 16, 2012, 11:42:42 pmSNT said, January 12, 2012, 04:30:18 pmMan, I'm out of practice. SNT you could probably use Maki's legs and head with Cammy's torso and possibly Yuri's hands as a base and just work from there by shading the clothing using Kiwi's Nina sprite as a reference.
Sarah's left ankle looks too squeezed. There's no shading around on her right arm and no shadow is cast.

I was using the original model. Problem was, there's no high res gameplay screenshots of Sarah in that costume; I was working off a pixely Youtube still.
ffff, for some reason I tought you were psriting ayane. is sarah's style similar to one of the doa's chicks?
If anyone from DOA, maybe Helena minus a few stances. The later DOA games gave her more skintight clothes to match, and she's always had the similar blonde ponytail and bangs. Also, here's what happens when I get a clean reference pic:
I think I've mentioned Kiwi-RBG on the forums somewhere before. I feel he is the most accurate CvS spriter period. He doesn't just convert old sprite and call them Cvs, he puts in the extra effort to make them accurate to the style. Check his stuff out on DA http://kiwi-rgb.deviantart.com/I appologies if these are in the thread already. Spoiler, click to toggle visibilty
That Darkstalkers and Battle Circuit cast is just perfect Haggar IMO needs to be bulkier, everything in that spoiler is fantastic

CvS does not have characters backs turned. Also, it looks like you traced that from a Virtua Fighter screenshot just by looking at the perspective of the sprite. Try raising the leg on the left and turning the foot more to the left. Another thing is that the hair looks a bit stiff, the shading on her back is off, and I see a bit of stray pixels on the right near her shoulder and where the shirt meet. The Gape said, January 20, 2012, 09:23:31 pmCvS does not have characters backs turned.yes it's just a stance but still
Kim's stance wasn't with his back turned though in CvS2. A stance with the character's back turned isn't traditionally CvS.
