he looks a bit large compared to other cvs people (his legs look fat) and the light sources seem inconsistent but that's good otherwise

Two things that I think are important to point out.

Like Titiln said light sources, specifically the legs. with those shorts and the pose hes in you could leave them unlit. That would look so much better.

I assume you want his hair to have bounce to it. To pull that of the hair sould be moving up as his head moves down, and down as his head moves up. EX:

Judging by that anim you have repeating frames though, which explains the motion of the hair.

^ that, and you always have so many jumpy bits in your animations, like the ends of the trousers, and the bottom border of his shirt, and his socks/shoes.
I know you're a speed spriter above all else (you said so), but I think you could really benefit if you took the time to check your animations,
frame by frame, to see the flow going on.
Also yes, nothing wrong by focussing on one project at a time, you shouldn't do 3/4 characters at once! :P
It's obvious you're a good spriter, you don't have to prove anything, you're already out there! ;)
Just eeeeeeeeeeaaaaase out, relax brother ;)!

Though it's the first I recall seeing him in this thread... I see we got fresh blood (to Guild, anyway). Welcome, 2DForever!

If he were a true purist he'd not forget transparency and use 15 colors.

Ah, you know what I didn't realise that it was 16 including transparency. If I could be bothered I'd chop out a grey to make it 15... but I can't be bothered.

But thanks for pointing that out :)

hey, cool you are here as well *5*

Well the original stance leans forward, like he's not standing straight, but leaning forward. You should prolly fix that

  • The Yatagarasu will be coming in any moment.
Your Asura looks super badass, 2DForever! Nice looking. :) That D. Dark looks so thin. His body of proportion needs to be wide a little more. I'd love to see Arika chars in CVS. ;D I know Blair is done.

You did good start at first. And now, I see some shading problems. You know what to do.
