Look at her right (viewer's left) side.  It looks deformed.

That shaded area behind her knee looks strange...and the curve of her right leg looks a bit unnatural to me.

Ooo! Ooo! Maybe I can help! I can't do the whole sprite, and hell I'm not good with bigger sprites at all, but I do know a lot about asses.

Probably messed up the thigh positioning a lot, and twisted her spine into a knot, but at least I made her ass nice and plump.

Actually, back in the days, I based this detail on her kof sprite, this is the reason of the weird area... :)

Nice job Diepod. :)
I'll try to edit it this way still with her CVS style.

I'll do it later.

@Caddie, Yes it's a nice and plump one!

I was wondering if I am going the right way as far as proportions and shading. I'm in a huge spriter's block when it deals with proportions :P

My Response is my avatar

Too big, proportions are WAY off, if you are going to try the style...try looking at that tutorial that Titiln posted?

the shading and light source are way way off for cvs. you should take a closer look at official cvs sprites to see how they handle that. look up some tutorials. i dunno. http://irwt.smeenet.org/sprite-cvs.html is a good tutorial but it might be too verbose
If I can't be the best, I sure as hell can be the worst.

Looks better now, but still seems a little flat (to me anyways, but I don't know much) :P
Sorry to sound like another new guy, but is this just a "learn by experience" style or is there some magical tutorial that could show me CvS spriting secrets? ::) I've been trying for a while now but everything I put together ends up looking like shit :gonk:
