Steve Fox sprite is pretty good, though in CvS it isn't neccessary to make the legs look like the have a 3d perspective.
You know that thought has been in the back of my head. I know a couple of characters in SF3 that have that kind of perspective, but I couldn't think of wone for with THAT much perspective. I'll see what I can do.Thanks for the complements everyone else.Edit: Better? Edit 2: V good to know. I went ahead and updated the other palettes. I believe I'm done with this sprite. unless someone else points out some glaring mistake that I've overlooked.Spoiler: sprites (click to see content)
Awesome look on Steve Fox, Drex! I wonder who are the palette swapped ones. I only know Jax, Dudley, and Balrog.

Much better although that isn't CvS style. I made the same mistake as well posting a Z2 style in the CvS thread. ~Chest still looks like he has an inner Gi on rather than showing his chest muscles the only thing that should be loose is his green gi.~ The arms need more work along with the hands
You have too many hard outlines. You should most outer areas, especially highlighted ones, have little or no outline. You will want to keep some outlines to help distinguish materials of the same color overlapping or in really dark areas, but not much else. Look at how I dealt some of the hard outlines in my Steve Fox .gif.Also it is not proper anti-aliasing in this style to outline you're highlights and shades with you second or fourth color completely. You gotta have a break somewhere in there. I wish I could tell you WHERE, but you just kinda gotta play it by ear by comparing your sprite to others in a similar pose.
yeah, yeah,he right..You have too many hard outlines. You should most outer areas, especially highlighted ones, have little or no outline. #Fix it
I wanted you to focus on the outer lines not the ones inside folds of his shirt and what not. Your previous sprtie was better, but the few outlines that rmained were too dark imo. Honestly I don't know what you could to to improve the sprite so I'll leave it alone.I want to focus back onto this sprite. I've been considering converting a character for a while now and I may attempt to covert a KOFXIII character into CvS style. I ate least want to get an animation or two going before I actually decide if I'm gonna do it or not. Before I can do that I want to bet my base sprite correct and build up from there. You can ignore the color choices if you'd like, but I want to know if there are any glaring details that would make this sprite fall outside of the CvS guidelines whether it be proportions, shading, or anything else that you find out of line.
I think that photobucket is acting up because I have 17 pages of "deleted" pictures in my album. I'll re-upload when I get home.
(This board is messing up. It won't let me modify my post)Glad that you could see it and like it. I updated the link anyway since it was giving Titiln and my mobile devices issues. Here it is again:Also I'd like to know which face you guys prefer this one(top) or the old one(bottom?
