I feel that even though Joe is a good base for him, you would be more satisfied with then end result if you just did him from scratch. I've tried making him out of Joe at least 4 times but I never really liked what came out. Your edit is decent, don't get me wrong. I just feel that he never looks right using Joe as a base. ( Just my opinion )

Now that I see that this is a conversion from the new KOF games, that would work if you are trying to convert all his sprites. My mistake.

I don't know what to say to that.

Anyone else got an opinion? I've made small improvements all around, but I'm really just concerned about the (artist's) right hand. It looks bigger than the left hand due to the perspective, but I want to see if others think that it's passable or not.

Yeah, that's mainly the reason why I said to try him out from scratch. That right arm looks real funny and so does the lighting because of the base. You should try looking for some references or just drawing it out on paper just to get an idea of how to work that out.

Agreed. Anyways, here's mine.

I combine C.v.s The Abstract's asuka sprite and zero de armentis' ibuki sprite to make this.
Also, Yes i did get permission to post this sprite.
Credit goes to Abstract and zero for their great sprites. :)

I think it looks better, I like what you have done with his hand in the new version. It looks right, that hand is more relaxed and fingers a bit spread so it would appear to be bigger than the other in my opinion.
