Is finding MUGEN to be more enjoyable to play when you're not wearing clothes an underrated opinion?

I did always love that stance, a lot more then his generic CvS stance.

That SNK stance is obviously better, the new CvS one is just boring.
That 5y old one from The Abstract, I actually like better then the new one he did.

For the record, while it's the Classic Ryo stance (they were going for classic stuff all the way in CVS, and they chose this stance for XII as well for the same reason) they also managed to make him look ugly. The final design for the character makes him look stiff and weak, the sprites are some of the ugliest when compared to the new set Ryu and Ken got.

The change makes sense for KOF 96, since many changes were introduced regarding characters outfits, and in terms of gameplay with a more loose combo system, which is the base of the modern KOF gameplay. KOF 96 was groundbreaking, and so they had to make it shiny in many ways, giving new outfits Ryo, Robert, Andy.

Ryo's new stance just fits right in with everyhing in that game, where as the stiff CVS stance fits nowhere, not even in CVS itself.

Personally, I've always preferred Ryo's CvS look. I dunno, I don't really think he looks ugly, just... um, I dunno, unique? No, that sounds wrong. I have no idea. :-X

but I like it and I think it fits well
