Wow, impressive!Although tthe legs could use some reshading. (why is her left leg darker than the right?)
im making cvs soifon sff file its in the same cvs style as cvs ichigo style since stormEXs ichigo made cvs ichigo so why not convert soifon in that same cvs stylei guess i can make the top part of the left leg to have a bright light source like the right oneim taking a break on sc stuff and make cvs conversions of anime characters and i will get back to sc soonthis is does not consume my time as muchi noticed not many people pay attention to sc for unless i made nightmare or siegfried so im waiting for brightview to help me get nightmare or siegfried sprites Posted: January 26, 2013, 12:10:40 amCVS Byakuya| default | color separation |
Taller?Uh...Last I checked, Dante is of average height, not at eye level with Sagat or Hugo. How tall does he really need to be?Shading issues will be worked out with the animation (if it gets done), but I'm pretty sure the height is fine.

I dunno, it's a great start, but it needs a lot of fixing.C.R.O.M - CVS artist said, January 24, 2013, 10:21:56 pm| default | color separation |His face is way too small, his sleeves are pillow shaded, and the light-source seems to be coming from the front instead from the top center. You might want to redo his head/hair it looks as if it's bulging out, or as if he's wearing a hoodiegood job, nonetheless.
There's "someone" who requested me to make a Vile avatar as well, so I went and did it. In case you wonder, no I did not design him, the megaman sprite comic did.
[Judas] said, January 27, 2013, 06:48:25 pmOut of practice at this scale. I may have lost my edge. You sprited over Playstation Allstars footage correct? The stance and proportions lead me to that conclusion.
I intended to sprite over it. Camera zoom/proportion shenanigans proved too troublesome for spriting over PSASBR footage (unless I find either a better method for adjusting that or someone who wants to go into DmC's practice mode and run through moves), so I just left All Stars in training and doodled while looking at the tv. No means to capture my own video from the system means scouring youtube until I can find sufficient stuff or begging people. Neither option interests me.I haven't noticed... how different is his stance in DmC? I might sprite over MvC3 Dante for some stuff if I can find proper match footage/movelist run-throughs. Asura from the Lost Episodes fake SF4 might be next. Considering full character sheets, but trying to talk myself out of them for the sake of my own long-term spriting projects. Hrmph.
This might be a really stupidly obvious suggestions, but I think you should use the smallest training stage for it since AFAIK the camera is locked in position due to not being very big. Everything should be fairly easy to see from there. If you want to do intros/taunts/victory poses go into the customization menu and you will be able to see each pose without the cinematic camera.
Again, lack of video capture on my end. Haha. That would cover what he has in All-Stars, but some stuff like Million Stab, Fireworks, or anything involving Eryx, Aquila, or the Ophion whip grapples. I don't think he has any of that stuff in there, anyway. I haven't really explored his moveset super thoroughly in All-Stars, but I think that stuff is M.I.A.
Yeah, that's true. He does have Stinger which can be frankensprited into Million Stab though. If you need audio, all of his spoken lines are up on Youtube (as are most of the cast's as well) but not his basic attack and hurt grunts. Those might have to be ripped from PC DmC.
