well what i have to say is that you got the mid tones right but the hands dont really look cvs and the out lines need lots of work but good attempt theres alot more than just getting the mid tone to make it cvs and the face could have some light tones because there is nothing covering it and the blue sky color couls use some dark colors on the dark shaded parts of his pantsif your going to have the outlines touch each other than make sure that the dark shaded area palette to have one pixel on the light out lines or half of the outline i hope this helps youand the sprite has to have a cvs appearance too use some cvs characters to look at because there are 3 cvs styles from the original game i think or maybe more
The proportions are also very funky, they're not consistent between each limb and it results in him looking like his parts aren't connected together.

I think I'm starting to realize why people here keep posting janky sprites and trying to pass them off as a "Style". You guys fail to utilize references. No matter what you are doing weather it's drawing a picture or making pixel art, you have to use references. For example:C.R.O.M - CVS artist said, February 09, 2013, 09:53:00 amcvs android 18Right off the bat I can tell that you did not use appropriate references for this sprite due to the simple fact that the proportions are all off. It Looks like you were trying to imitate Balthazar's spriting style and just give it somewhat CvS proportions. You could have easily franken sprited together a simple base using Rage of The Dragon/Matrimelee (maybe using Annie's boots and Sonia's pants and upper body) and then just sprited on a new layer to get better results. You should try working smarter when spriting. I hope no offense is taken by my cc.
well instead of saying its not cvs just say what parts look wrong and android 18 is not representing balthazar's characters in anywayyou might not know how cvs style works if you cant explain what areas of the sprite is not cvs styled Posted: February 16, 2013, 11:41:14 pmsorry i forgot to add the left foot

Your sprite suggests that there is more than one lighting source (Her face indicates that there is a light pointing directly forward, and the same goes for her pants and shoes.). The lighting source is not directly above. You used solid black for her vest, gloves and eye brows. The entire sprite is not scaled correctly. The proportions are all over the place (legs very thin, head being really big compared to the rest of the body. Her visable ear is very big. On the artist left, the hair can use a tad bit of work.
If you're gonna give criticism, you're gonna have to do it right and explain in every detail of what is wrong, and not just say "it's wrong".C.R.O.M - CVS artist said, February 16, 2013, 11:40:16 pmwell instead of saying its not cvs just say what parts look wrong
I can't bring myself to finish it, solely because I reeeeeally want it to be 16 colors, yet can't seem to find the best method of managing the palette. Aside from just completely ripping off CvS2 Rock, of course. You know, that actually sounds like a good idea.
I hate this character but the sprite is amazing and you made me like him now @_@ this Megaman Zero by MotorRoach my friend really rocks too, dunno if he already posted it here! They really fit ahn?

Too bad I suck ass at even small sprites. I may commission you to do Model H in this style.
I don't mean to offend, but his shoulders don't really look connected to his body. Try making it closer, I guess.
