The punch itself is fine whether you don't see the fist or not I think but there's got to be a little more lower body movement
I believe the sprite is pretty good the way it is. Plenty of characters have light attacks that are pretty static and if Joes fist is quicker than the eye can see then so be it. As long as Zreo makes the legs look more original in the end then the animation should be fine. Posted: April 29, 2014, 09:22:55 pm...then again. Now that I'm able to see on a PC the animation would look less jerky if the (artist's) left arm didn't move so much. Keep it upright and let it just move over to the left just a bit during the punch.
I agree that you should at least see the fist as it should hit, and the animation could use more core and leg animation. Any punch with proper impact tenses at the end of it, lest you merely waste energy waving your arms around for no reason. The same goes for the idle animation. Just moving parts around per frame looks unnatural, it could use quite a bit more fluidity throughout the entire body.

Orochi gill is epic..Just imagine the moveset if he became a full character. Might make Oni crap his pants.
You mean Omni? Not sure if Touhou and death metal could beat the fatality at the Pacific Rim stage from SF4.
Well, tell you what, the design doesn't really screams for CvS. Not only the shading style still feels too different, but CvS style consists of more realistic proportions, rather than just being cartoony or something like that.
