The issue with Karin is not "fat legs", the entire sprite is scaled incorrectly. First off, any CPS sprite needs to be scaled by 78% or so in width to look right in 4:3/square pixel proportions, and even then I'm not sure the overall scale quite matches, she might need to be a little bit bigger to match the proper cvs scale.I guess a lot of people have trouble seeing how weird fat CPS sprites look with square pixels, so if you find yourself having any trouble seeing the difference between CPS and cvs sprites (basically, if you think CPS sprites look fine and totally normal on your computer screen), just rotate any CPS sprite by 90 degrees and hopefully the difference should be clear. If you're still having trouble, rotate a sprite of your character knocked down and compare it to a sprite of them standing up straight, and it should become painfully clear

I know your feeling, I'd rather work in any of the abandoned concept customes. you gave em an idea to do the motw one.
Jesuszilla said, August 23, 2014, 11:32:52 pm83% gets it from 384 to 320 in width and is what CvS2 and CFJ use for the SFA and DS characters. That doesn't sound right. 320/384 is about 83%, yes, but it doesn't account for the difference in height (384x224 vs 320x240) and thus overall proportion. If you're saying that's how they scaled the sprites in the CVS games, I don't have any reason to disbelieve you, but it sure sounds weird.
Nice sprites, guys Long time without posting a sprite here and I like the result this time. I "improved" an old sprite I've done, this time is Ahri from League of Legends Spoiler: Because I know you all and you'd like to see it without BG (click to see content)Spoiler: Old version (click to see content)
Thank you, Chazz! Zorc made one time ago Potemkill said, January 30, 2014, 05:49:12 pmJinx from league of legends
I hope that too JNP, but it was just an attempt bro. I ain't that talented to do a full char Anyway, here's a CVS Tiger Uppercut
It's pretty good. I only noticed his face in it, though. Seems rather wide and flat and his ear seems... almost gone. You might want to shade that a little.
This frame has strong in-lines and out-lines.So I decided to edit it a little bit:I hope you keep at it, you're doing great so far. Just don't forget about small details in the sprites.
