Oh? Hmmmm...coulda swore it was Dcat, but oh well. I would still like to see Dcat test his skills with the Power Rangers games of yore.

But what I'd like to see is the arcade TMNT Turtles in Time Shredder...

Yeah, he should make the bad guys! No one has made Shredder, Krang, Bebop and Rocksteady. Dcat'd make them great.

Very, very good character. I always get excited when you release or update your TMNT characters. They are just so well made and fun to use. Donatello is my favorite of the four, so this makes me especially happy. However, I have two suggestions:

1. I think he really needs a standing special that hits standing opponents. I understand you're working with a limited sprite set, but of his 3 specials, one is a standing move that will only connect on aerial opponents, and the other 2 are mid-air moves that have practically the same trajectory and speed. I think this leaves his ground game a bit weak.

2. I would also suggest that his EX Alley Oop connect on standing opponents if close enough. Alex's EX Knee Smash in SF3:TS had this mechanic, and gave a little bit of extra functionality to the EX version other than it just being a faster, more powerful version of the move.

These are of course just suggestions and are in no way character breaking. Keep up the good work. I can't wait for Leo just so I can have some fun 4 vs. 4 team battles playing as all four turtles.
Son, the last thing you'll realize you need is what you've already got.

Dcat, I'd like to thank you for bringing my favorite childhood cartoon AWESOME mugen ports. Seriously, leonardo should be your next W.I.P, then I'll have all four turtles, keep it up, these are serious gems of awesome.

Very good point SeanAltly. Just noticed that trying to connect a super following alley oop is impossible due to the nature of the move. I'm thinking of making the QCF+Punch super behave different depending on distance the player is from the opponent. The longer your range from a target, you'll instantly go into the current knockout roll super. Closer opponents will be hit by another super combo (maybe a standing flurry that ends with staff spin or some kind of launcher that puts Donny in the air for a super cancel).

Your second point makes perfect sense as well, there's no incentive to use fierce Alley Oop when it's guaranteed to whiff on standing opponents, fixing now. Thanks for the feedback SeanAltly!


And for those other users who replied, there's no need to request for Leonardo. Its pretty clear he'll be the next release.

Oh yeah, here's my feedback:
I have tested Donny and i have to say just like this: Awesome and/or omg what a great mugen char.
Yeah can't think anything more than that. Guess everyone likes this char. :D

I found a bug in Don
If you're moving away from the opponent and use any of the punch buttons nothing happens
Also if your crouching and pressing back you can't attack with punches
But that's all I found
All-in-all he's a pretty fun character

Also if your crouching and pressing back you can't attack with punches
But that's all I found

Okay, thanks for the extensive testing Roks. It seems i was a little too restrictive with the conditions for standing attacks in the command file. All fixed in the next update of Donatello.

Thanks but the sprites don't fit with the Konami Arcade style I'm going for with these Ninja Turtle characters. I'm also not going to touch something with has a past tarnished with stolen/uncredited content from another creator. Thanks but no thanks, I'll do fine crafting Shredder from scratch .

Wow - that would be really cool. Always wanted to see good shredder and everything we got were those horrible overpowered ones.

hey dcat, if you want to add more attacks to donny, maybe you should get some ideas from looking at other bo-weilding chars like Mortal Kombat's Jade, MVC's Gambit and (especially) KOF's Billy Kane
