I noticed a lot of newbies make some sprites "jump" as I call it, so here's small Tut from me.

Standing sprites are the most important ones, 'cause every sprite (Standing & crouching only) have addicted position from them, second leg (in this case left) is the one that character hold his weight,

Keep your eye on body parts that keeps weight 'cause they doesnt move from their place.

Sorry my English, but its hard subject to explain., I hope I helped.

For those that are ripping sprites of a particular character from a game, there's the perfect axis alignment method. Though with this, you need something such as ArtMoney to freeze the character's position and animation frames. Once you do this, rip the entire game screen with BG layers off.

This method will also solve any "jump" errors from sprites found on things like sprite sheets.
